Chandler was hurriedly wheeled into an observation room, so they could quickly fix her problem. The doctors ran test after test, coming up with a negative every time. "Her heart is working" Chandler's worried Aunt said out loud, not really paying attention if anyone was listening to her or not. After two hours of running tests on the passed out teen, the doctors let her be, hoping that silence and comfort would wake her up. Aunt Blaire sat in an off-white colored chair next to Chandler's big, out of place hospital bed. She stared at her niece's pale, but beautiful face. "God....if you are there. Please keep my precious niece alive. She doesn't deserve to die. It wasn't her fault." Aunt Blaire whispered as she stared at the ceiling. After days and days of waiting, Aunt Blaire began to lose hope, realizing she may never get to spend time with her niece again. As she headed for the door, she heard a small and weak voice whisper "I'm alive. Aunt Blaire spun around and saw Chandler's small, but open eyes. "I need to use the bathroom" Chandler screeched, trying to get herself out of bed, but having a hard time. Aunt Blaire rushed over to her niece's side and made sure she got up okay. Holding Chandler's hand, Blaire lead her to the nearest bathroom. Chandler slowly waddled into the tiny stall, all by herself. She pulled her pants down and just stared. She began to cry, pulling her hands over her face. "God Damnt" she screamed in between sobs. Aunt Blaire heard, but she didn't interfere, it wasn't her battle. "It couldn't have been a dream.....it shouldn't be there" Chandler screamed again punching the wall. She had forgotten. The center of her entire problem. Because Chandler was assigned the gender, "boy" at birth, she has a penis, even though she hates it. She pulled her sweatpants and unlocked the bathroom door. "What happened honey" Aunt Blaire said, in the most sincere voice she could possibly speak in. " I had a dream. I had a vagina. I was normal." Chandler answered, wiping fresh tears off her cheeks. Chandler slid down the wall and layed her head into her knees. "I just can't" she whispered, struggling to catch her breath.
