Chapter 8

Yugi's POV

     "Wh-wh-what ?" I stuttered. Right there , right now I felt like I'm about to faint. Heba walked to me and took a hold of my arm "First , you might want to sit down first. You looked like about to pass out any moment" he said and dragged me to the bed.

     Damn right.

     "Rather than we explain the whole thing , we prefer you ask questions and we will answer them as much as possible" the replica of Atemu said , I think his name is Yami ... Yeah , Yami from my dream.

     "WHAT THE BLOODY HELL HAPPEN IN HERE ?!" I shouted at the top of my lungs making the three lad winced "Geez , you don't need to shout" Heba said and rubbed his ears. "Given the fact that you lost for so many years without any trace. I have too" I replied back.

     "Okay , all those years that I've been gone is because I want to protect you and our parents  , I don't want you to hurt from dangers" he said. Protect me he said ? Make myself away from dangers he said ?

     "Really Heba ?" I glared at him for no reason I was furious as I heard the answer from him "All those years you're trying to protect me ? But I need you Heba , I need you! You're not protecting myself from dangers , you're hurting me! Why are you so selfish ?! You're hurting me , you hurting our parents!" I said and by the time I stopped my ranting , my vision is blurry and I felt something wet rolled down on my cheek.

     "I-I'm sorry Yugi ... I just , I'm desperately trying to protect you" he said , protecting again ? "Just what are you trying to protect me from ?" I asked and suddenly their expression turned to agitated and this making me frowned , why would this also effecting Atemu and Yami ?

     Heba sighed and finally answered "Yugi my dear brother" I bit my lips , yeah I miss the way he called me like that "There are things that you never know about yourself" then Yami walked beside Heba "Yugi , you're not just a normal person living on this earth. You have a special purpose why you live on this earth"

     "What do you mean by that ? Purpose ?" I asked and getting more confused , I swear this moment is the most confusing thing that I ever experience.  I can heard a shuffling sound behind Heba and Yami , Heba turned around only to take something from Atemu then he looked to me again handing me an old vintage book.

     I examined the old book. Hard brown cover and it was heavy with the paper inside it and a word written on the cover 

     PROPHECY.

     "Prophecy" I read it out loud and I opened the book to read the first page. But this book turns out written in a foreign language that I never saw "How am I suppose to read this ?" I asked and looked to Heba. "There's something inside you that is still locked , you have to open it in order to read the whole book." he explained.

     I swear that things is getting weirder each moment passed. I turned to another page and looked so perplexed "This thick book is blank except for the first page ?" and I turned to another page and also blank like nothing ever written on the page.

     "As Heba said Yugi , you have to unlock something inside yourself in order to read it" Atemu said "Does this 'unlock' thing also apply to you guys ?" and this time is Yami turned to answer "Yes it does apply to us but we already unlocked it since we were born. But  it seems it doesn't happen to you" 

     Why me ? Why does this happen to me ?

     "According to our theory , there are  other party who tried to stop you from unlocking it. That is why only you can't unlock it the moment that you were born" Atemu stated

     "Why would they do that ?" I asked again "Because if you unlock it , that will be the end of them." Heba said "I still don't understand" I said and rubbed my head , I can felt someone sat beside me and I looked to him , it was Heba "The outline from the whole thing is , we have to save the world from falling to the darkness. What I mean by darkness is this party who try prevent you from 'unlocking' and they try to take over the world" he explained and I was frozen in place.

      Saving the world ? A party trying to take over the world ? Me helping them ?

     I stood up "I-I-I can't do this ... I mean looked at me. I'm just Yugi , plain Yugi. I'm weak .. I.." I'm about to continue but a pair of hands on my shoulders stopped me. The next thing I knew , I was staring at a pair of crimson eyes.

     "You're not weak Yugi , in fact you're the strongest from all of us. That's why we need you Yugi. Do not say that ever again" Yami spoke. I bit my lips and looked down to the floor.

     Why me ?

River : Hello fellas , sorry if this chapter is not very good because I'm not feeling well when I wrote this chapter 

Heba : Dumbass , instead of resting you played your computer

Atemu : Says the one who do that all the time

River : Oh my god! Don't start , Yugi's not here to stop you guys

Heba : Hey , I'm certainly not like that

Atemu : Sure Heba , sure
