-Sam's pov
I walk into school like any other day wearing: a dark purple button up shirt, a black pair of sweat pants, dark purple Jordan's and my black beanie with my long auburn hair loose and straight. For some reason I feel like somethings off today and I'm not quite sure what it is yet so I just shake it off. I walk to my locker and put all my unnecessary things in there and my gym bag. Oh I forgot to mention that today is basketball tryouts. Of course I don't have to try out I'm already captain but coach wants me to go so I can help pick put the best players for the team. I don't mind going because I love basketball, ball is literally life for me. But enough about that let me get to class before I'm late.
When I walk into home room I spot my best friends Jasmine and Roberto. They both look me over Jasmine smiles "Damn Sammi that outfit on point." "For real though Sam and damn so is your shoe game as always" Roberto chimes in fist bumping me. "Thanks guys yall know I try. What's a stud without a fly outfit?" "True." They said in unison and looking at each other as I take my usual seat behind them with no one beside me.
Class started when the teacher walked in and everyone got quite. Not even ten minutes into class someone rushes into class apologizing for being claiming they got lost. That's when I look up and saw the most beautiful girl I've ever seen she was short about 5'4 with long butt length dirty blonde hair, green eyes, a caramel complexion and a slim body with curves in all the right places. She wore faded black skinny jeans, a light purple crop top, light purple converse and a faded black bow in her hair. She wore lightly aplyed makeup that made her green eyes pop.
I didn't notice I was starting until Roberto nudged me "bro if you stare any harder your eyes are going to pop out" "yea Sammi and close your mouth before a bug flies in." Jasmine chuckled. "Oh shut up guys I wasn't staring that hard.... Was I?" "Yea you really were." Jasmine sighs "Well she's coming this way you should talk to her." "wait what....!" I whispered yelled as I looked up to see the flawless new girl standing beside me. "Um excuse me..... but is this seat taken?" the new girl asked in a shy voice witch was soo cute I could barely speak. "Um.... Uh...... N-no..... it's free...." I blushed when she smiled and sat down. I had to turn away to calm down a little.
Once I was calm and she was settled I decided to introduce myself. "Hey I'm Samantha Morgan but my friends call me Sam or Sammi. What's your name cutie?" she blushed before speaking. "H-hi.... I'm Nicole Mathews but you can call me Nikki if you want." "Nikki that's a beautiful name for a beautiful girl. So Nikki where you from?" "I'm from out of state. I came from Georgia." "now why would you move from Georgia to North Carolina?" "My mom got a job transfer that moved us here."
For the rest of class I didn't pay attention to the lesson I chose to learn more about Nikki. Come to find out we have a lot in common we both like the same style of music we both love art, skateboarding and sports, she's also trying out for basketball after school. I can't wait to see that ass in some shorts. Bad Sam you can't think like that about a girl you just met.
*lunch*
At lunch I sit with Roberto, Jasmine and their boyfriends Tyler and Logan. As we sit there I spot the new girl looking around for a table so I got up and asked her if she wanted to sit with us. Of course she agreed we all sat down and talked. "So Nicole.... Right? Sam tell us your also into basketball do you plan on trying out this afternoon?" "As a matter of fact yes I am. Me and Sammi were talking about it earlier." "Cool, quick question.... Do you have a boyfriend?" "Alright Robbi stop asking her so many questions" I gave him a stern look. "Awww come on Sam we were all wondering. So do you Nicole? As pretty as you are you must be seeing someone." "Actually no I don't have a 'boyfriend' I'm a fem." "Oh ok then what about a girlfriend?" "Come on Robbi leave the girl alone." "protective much." "What!" I said almost choking on my drink. "It's ok Samm. And to answer your question no I'm not seeing anyone at the moment. I'm currently single." that's when a smile grew on my face but no one noticed... good.
After lunch the rest of the day went by quickly and schools finally over I can't wait for basketball tryouts. Let's see who good and who's not.
