Alright so first of all I really want to thank anyone who has got this far and started to read my book. It means a lot to me as this is my first attempt at really putting myself out here. For this sake I hope you all leave comments; good and constructive I hope so I can improve my writing for you.

Anyway thank you again and let's get on with the story

Arrabella Evans sang to herself as she finished editing footage for her next upload to Youtube, she stopped, glancing at the clock that hung over her desk to gather the time.

She always uploaded at the same time everyday, call it a bit OCD but it helped to have some stability in her life and it comforted her.

"3...2...1" she whispered the countdown to herself before pressing the upload button, a shy and excited smile grew on her lips as she watched the upload percentage starting from zero percent and soaring up to the other end of the spectrum; which was of course the final one hundred percent. She got the notification in her inbox to announce officially that her most recent vlog was out there, for everyone to see and scrutinise now.

Exiting the page she started to stare off into space and think about 6 months ago when she started her youtube channel. She had never expected anyone to even watch her videos, for her it was more about documenting each day as they came and went. As it happened she now had a small few hundred subscribers; only a speck to those famous ones. But it was far more than she had ever dreamed of and she loved her small group of supporters. They made her smile on bad days...

Her videos enabled her to look back on those good days, and be able to smile as she reminisced about them. It distracted her from her far from perfect life, and just made sure every day ended with a high.

Arrabella had been brought up in the typical nuclear family, two loving parents but things soon grew sour, especially when she hit 12. At that point she was being bullied mercilessly at school and her parents were constantly at each others throats, oblivious to anything apart from her much they hated each other.

They didn't notice when their daughter stopped turning up to dinner or to class. They didn't notice when she started staying in her room all day. They didn't notice when she started to wear more covering clothes, to hide the scars that now covered her wrists and the insides of her thighs. Something that would always be there to remind her of the bad times.

They didn't even noticed when she disappeared for 3 days, only realising when they were woken up by a phone call by the police station telling them to get to the hospital. And that their daughter was in a life and death state. She spent a few weeks in the hospital, being monitored for further physical signs of depression as well as emotional.

That stay in hospital was what finally drove the 12 year olds parents apart, and they filed for a divorce but neither wanted to have to look after an already troublesome child. The simple option to them was to place her up for adoption, and just feel sorry for whoever ended up with her.

Years of being in care and never once being adopted brought her to now, 18 and living in an apartment she could hardly afford, With the hopes of being a success; here on Youtube. But she was also catching up with school work, so she could make a living for herself if things didn't turn out like she wanted them to.

With a small smile Arrabella had a scroll through of the recommended videos for her channel based on previous views, she liked randomly watching peoples videos and showing a bit of support that she wished for.

Spotting a youtube cover with a man with the most inviting gaze and unruly auburn hair she felt her hand moving the mouse, only hesitating for a second before clicking and watching as the video loaded and she was greeted with the happy sound of his deep voice "Hey...llo!" she giggled as his accent made his greeting sound so different but so easy to relate to and she settled down with her laptop on her lap and started to watch his video intently to the end.
