It all happened so quick one moment she was there... next she was gone.
It was hard to belive that im gonna be leaving Cali and moving down to New York... I still remember all the laughs we had and all the crazy antics me and her always did. Its gonna be difficult but just for Sophie ill do my very best to adapt to my dads place down there.
11:30 a.m to JFK NYC it read on the flight board. I turned to my mom.. It hurt me to leave her at a time like this, but then again staying in Cali would drive me insane... every where I go reminds me of Sophie.
2 months ago we were on Rodeo Drive, walking happily together just got back from Fred Segals and was heading down to Jakob to get our hair done for the gala we were gonna attend with mom that night.
*2 Months ago*
"Mel! shut up! it was not even that serious" she giggled I looked at her "really soph? wasnt even that serious? you tripped going down the steps with a chai latte on your hand almost knocking that grumpy woman off the steps.." I laughed while crossing the streets with my full hands of bags.
"Okay! Okay! Maybe.... just maybe it was a little hialrious" she said in between laughs
"you should have seen the sales--- SOPH! WATCH OUT!" I screamed
Evrything happened so fast
The laughs we shared were now screams and sobbing....
The car hit her and every single bag she had in her hand were scattered everywhere
I dropped everything and ran to my sisters limp body
"Soph! Sophie.... sophie cmon sophie please wake up." I looked up with tears gushing down my face "PLEASE SOMEBODY CALL THE POLICE!... please.." I held her body close to mines sobbing, shaking.... "Sophie.. please , please be okay..." The police and ambulance sirens got louder as they got closer
An EMT medic touched my shoulder and i knew i had to back away from my sister now. I stood up with the help of a police shaking, sobbing and just scared.
They put her body in a stretcher and put wires all over her told me to get inside and closed the door and sped to off to the hospital.
"Clear... zap... again.. are you ready? Clear.. zap...."
Looking at her body ripped shirt pale and almost life less i broke into more sobbing... "sophie.. please sophie i need you.."
as those words slipped out my mouth the line went dead, all you hear was beeeeeeeeeeeeeeep
Sophie was gone

I looked at my mom "mommy.. are you sure you dont want me to stay here till all of the stuff is gone.. i mean its okay i can stay with you."
she looked at me and held my hand "Mel I am very sure, ill be in NY 2 months from now so as for now you have to stay with your dad. If anything you just call me okay honey?"
i didnt wanna leave my mom but Then again she needed her time alone so i looked at her and hugged her. "mommy ill miss you so much" she hugged me and told me she loved me I grabbed my bag and headed toward the check in line..
little did I know that as soon as I get in that plane my life is going to be very different.
