The Lord Gave Me A Blessing

As my alarm goes off, I wake up and look out my window. I see today was a great day for church, it was a sunny summer day. I got my church white dress on and my small white pearl purse, and went to eat breakfast with my parents down stairs.
"So how was your day yesterday with Sasha, Nyla?" Says mom. I have eaten all of my cereal and began to answer. "Yeah, my day was great yesterday, we went to the mall then surfed at the beach". My dad smiled and my mom did so to. "Well I'm glad you had a great day from yesterday, also we are sorry from that argument from before" says my dad. I have forgiven them and we all went to church.
Once church was over, we all went home. Someone rings the doorbell and my dad answers it, IT WAS JORDAN! My dad put the smile of his face once he saw him. "I'm sorry for the disturbance from before Nyla's dad, but I came to ask you something" sad Jordan in a proper time. My mom lets him in and brings him to the living room. "Thank you for coming over Jordan, so what do you need from us" says my mom. As I come down stairs in some jeans and a shirt, I noticed he was talking to my parents, my love life was over, until he asked them a question. "Nyla's mom and dad, may I have permission to take your daughter out on a date?" He says bravely. I gasped and my parents gasped to. My dad was about to say no, until my mom says "you have permission to". I love my mom, but I still love my dad to for protecting me. Jordan smiles and speaks "Well I will wait until tonight for her to come on a date with me, thank you" says Jordan as he leaves my house.
I was so happy and excited to go on a date with Jordan, but my dad was upset. As I got ready, I put on my pink dress and white shoes. I'm also bringing extra money so I can help buy dinner to. I knew this date will be the best date I will ever have, well since it's my first :)
