Many years ago people spoke about a legend around the grey forest. Of course there's many rumours, but people believe what they have heard. To the forest being cursed to the missing people. People say there's a demon which protects the forest, many people say that this demon will take young woman if they enter the forest. But, there are many rumours that are true and many which are false.....

"Sorry grandmother , I slept it this morning and I missed the train," cried Yumi over the phone.

"Its alright dear," spoke the grandmother in a soft voice. "I am on my way now," Yumi spoke as she got an the train. " See you soon my dear" spoke the grandmother and then hung up.

Its been almost nine years since I've seen my grandmother and also the last time I've meet him. He was my only friend over at my grandmothers. We did everything together, we went on walks, played by the lake and stargazed. The only thing was my grandmother never saw him, every time I'd introduce him he would disappear.

"Last stop," yelled the bus driver. I hoped off the bus and the earthy smell over took me. The mossy air is a lot better then the stuffy air in the city. I decided to walk though the forest to my grandmothers house which is located on the other side. Walking through the forest brought back memories of when I first meet him. He was a tall guy with long sliver hair tied in a pony-tail and bright green eyes which you could get lost in, to me he looked fifteen but I could be wrong. His voice was beautiful and so was his looks. If he lived in the city he would have been asked millions of times to become a model. I remember where we meet. I was seven at the time and I got lost in the forest and I was terrified, I couldn't stop shaking . All I could remember after that was this guy holding me in a princess hold, I remember his soft voice saying it will be okay and I'm bringing you home now. I didn't even notice when we arrived at the house I was lost in his green eyes. But it wasn't the last time I'd see him. As I got older I could remember my way in and out of the forest. We walked around the forest and played in the trees, my best memories were playing with him. I wonder if I'll see him again.

I reach grandmother's house, she was sitting outside on the rocking chair. She looks very happy knitting. I almost felt bad to have disturbed her. "Hello sweetheart, did you have a nice trip?" she asked.  "I did, how are you ?" I questioned. " I'm good, you must be tired from the trip, I'll show you to your room" she spoke softly.

The room was still the same since I was last here. The same bed covers, the same pillows and the same curtains all covered in flowers. When I was younger I was crazy into flowers. I wanted my room covered in flowers and my hair , I also told grandmother when I grow up my car will be a big flower, but now I am not as crazy. The walls of the room was covered in my drawings and paintings, they brighten up the room with mad, crazy colours. I placed my suitcase on the bed and decided to unpack my things. Placing my dresses in the wardrobe and the shorts and t-shirts in the dresser, looking up at the painting brought back a sad memories I wanted to forget. The painting had a little girl which is me and a man, the man was leaving and wouldn't return and the girl is crying. That was a hard time for me. I remember him telling me we couldn't see each other again. He never told me why, but looking back at it now I think he was moving, even though I never saw his house or his parents before.

"Grandmother I'm going to go for a walk, Ill be back in a while" I shouted while I headed outside. I headed toward the forest, touching the trees while I walk by. What great memories I had here, I thought. I continued into the forest. Suddenly I got my foot stuck in something and fell on the earthy floor. I looked back to see what I triped on. I was surprized to see notting there. "I'm getting clumsy" I thought. I got up with no cuts, only covered in dirt. I started to walk again deeper into the forest.

"Hello weakling, you look very ... delicious" spoke someone with a deep voice. I looked round but I couldn't see anyone.

"Hello" I whispered, wishing I was only hearing things. Nobody replied. At this stage I was kind of freaked out so I decided to head home. I turn to find massive red eyes staring at me. My body wouldn't move, and I couldn't look away from these blood red eyes, I tried to scream but my throat felt like it was blocked. Tears started to roll down my face. I was going to die, I knew it.

"My powers are great, aren't they" growled the mysterious creature lurking in the shadows of the trees. Suddenly a horrible stench hit, I felt sick.

"Human are so weak". The stench is getting worse. Then the large bushes in front of me started to  rustle. Still staring at those the blood red eyes, the bushes rustled again. Suddenly large, pale, white hands appear along with even larger white feet. The massive creature steps out of the shadows and into the light.

I've never seen anything like it. It stands seven foot tall, with a big, black, hairy body. His eyes are massive compared to his. He slowly walked toward me, my body started to shake. I tried to clam down because I had a feeling this creature wanted to watch me shiver and cry.

"You think becoming brave will help you" he roared. As he got closer the smell got worse and I started to get sick.

"Its fun to watch you in pain" he laughed. "But I think you've had enough. Time for dinner!" Grabbing my body, he opened  his massive mouth and showed his sharp yellow teeth. I knew I couldn't do anything. I am weak and there's nothing I could do about it. I closed my eyes, getting ready to endure the inevitable pain.

Suddenly I was falling. I opened my eyes to find a man with long grey hair tied in a pony-tail, with cat-like ears on the top of his head and a tail coming from his behind. This guy burnt the creature to a crisp and his ashes went with the breeze. He turns to find me in tears and shivering. He walk over to me slowly. "You are okay now", he spoke softly.

"It's you, but you have a tail and ears" I spoke, I notice my voice starting to break. I just looked at him, scanning him form the bottom to the top until I saw his eyes. He looked worried and also mad but I didn't know why. He walked over to me and bended over so we could be on the same level . He touched my leg . I broke from his eyes to look at my leg which was covered in blood, I was in shocked to see that much blood. He bent down and placed his lips on my leg, I move as quick.

"Wha... ,what are you doing" I shuddered. I looked down at my leg to find the cut was gone. I look at this fox-man with surprize, I thought he was going to eat me.

"How are you feeling now" spoke the fox-man. You could tell by the sound of his voice he was worried. He decide to bring me home, maybe he was scared of me fainting or something .

"I'm good, thank you. Can  I ask you for your name ?" I questioned.

" Kitsune " he replied. I had heard that name before, at school. It mean fox-demon. Having a demon walking beside me was scary, but I felt kind of safe around him.

" So your a fox-demon? " I laughed trying to make a joke .                                                                      "Yes," he replied seriously. His face had no emotion now.

" You remind me of a friend I had years ago , he lived around here, but he moved,"  I said.

" I'll leave you here, your house is right out there, " I turned to say thank you but he was gone...
