"Guys let's go!" I yelled as I ran outside. In the dark, I gazed up at the stars, the sky dark purple. Jamal ran to my side. "Okay! So we are going to be playing..." I glanced a my brother. "... Hunger games with no weapons!" We announced in unison. "Whaaaaat?" I heard Ellissa mutter. "So basically, how you play is, there are two or three people that have to tag the people who are not it." I explained. "Yes, I know I explained this terribly, but just roll with it!" I added. "Hehe." Aya giggled. "You can pair up, but, you may NOT tag the taggers." Jamal warned. "Okay, so-" I was interupped by the rumbling of a car. "I'm here! Sorry I was late!" Lorna apologized as she stepped out of her car. "Yes! Now we have more players!" I thought excitedly. "Okay, so, the taggers will be... Aya and... Ethan!" I announced slowly. "Darn..." Aya murmured sadly. "HAHAHA!" I laughed in my head. I slowly walked over to Lorna. "Oi, Lorna, wanna team up?" I asked quietly. She nodded. "Ready... set... BEGIN!" Ethan and Aya bellowed. Lorna and I ran into the forest behind my house (that's not actually there in real life XD)

Ethan was near us, stalking in the brambles. I moved foward a bit, then stepped on a twig. It snapped, and he looked at us. "Oh no." I muttered. He charged at us and I hollered, "Run!" We ran and ran, but Ethan was still close behind us. We ran into Ellissa and she got the hint. I saw a clump of ferns good to hide in. I silently pointed to it, and we stumbled are way into it. Ethan passed us, and we sighed in relief. "Oh my, it looks like we will have to sleep out here." Lorna remarked. "Besides, my mom has approved of us sleeping out here!" I told them. I sensed movement behind us, and I turned my head slowly. Aya was chasing Alex, then stopped and let him get away. She started to run after him, but I stood up and walked into the clearing. "Oh, hi..." She laughed evilly. She ran at me, but I just stood there. She smirked and almost tagged me. But at the right moment, I dashed in the other direction. "He!" I laughed.

I panted, the air around me quivering as I sat on the soft grass. I lied down, then, I heard a bush rustle. I sat up, looking around. Taiki amerged from the green bush, looking startled as he looked at me. "Phew!" He sighed, wiping his forehead. "Please help me." He pointed to his left arm. A few thorns were stuck in his arm. I gasped. I rushed over to him, concern clearly visble through my soft gaze. "It stings." He complained as I plucked one from his bloody skin. I dropped it on the ground and carefully took out another one. He flinched, his body was cold. As I took out the last few ones, Ellissa and Lorna were in the clearing. "Hey! Ugh, Kayla? What are you doing?" Lorna asked, raising an eyebrow. "He's hurt." I said, pointing to his bloody arm.
