*Jase*

"There is this beautiful girl walking in front of me-she has amazing purple hair is kinda short, and is just stunning-she has been for a while now and she keeps looking back at me." Jase thought to himself. "God I hope that she doesn't think that I am following her. I wonder if this purple hair girl lives close to me." A few minutes later he saw the girl turn into the house right before his, when she turned toward the house he saw what she was wearing (he loved Green Day) and made a mental note. He wondered why he has never seen her before. He reached his door and unlocked it quickly. He went straight up to his room and locked the door, like always he didn't want to hear his parents arguing, he hated when they argued. And sometimes they would try to bring him into it or just start yelling at him while they are yelling at each other.

            ***********************************

That night Jase couldn't fall asleep because he just kept remembering the way the girl looked and all the little details he had enough time to observe. Why did he feel this way? Of course he had feelings but never like this before. This didn't make any sense to him, he didn't even know her name. If any of his friends found out that he was actually falling for a girl this hard they'd laugh at him. He hung out with the popular kids despite how he really felt. But, his older brother had basically taught him how to act and how to act when he was around them. It had become almost like a reflex and while it had its benefits he hated how easily he conformed to it all. But Jase couldn't help himself from wondering, would she be worth losing his "image" for. And at that moment he heard someone pounding on his door and it nearly scared him half to death. "Who is it?" he screamed, even though he already knew it was his younger brother Ronnie. "They're arguing again and I'm scared.  Can I come sleep with you?" Jase got up to open the door and once his brother was inside he closed it. He knew that Ronnie didn't like it when they argued either so he had no problem letting him sleep in the room with him. Once Ronnie fell asleep Jase got up and got his charger to plug his phone in and then he plugged in his headphones into his phone and played his favorite band, Twenty One Pilots, and went to sleep.
