A Strange Kind of Love Chapter 9- Giving Up!? I Don't Think So!

Kagome had just finished her bath in the hot spring. She was tired and disappointed she didn't get to her goal today. She was a little bit refreshed, happy and calm but not by much this was really a thin happiness for her. One wrong move from anybody and she would most likely explode into rant. Kagome slowly walked to the village. She just really needed time to have some peace and quiet to think and relax. As Kagome thought she had one thought that stuck out to her the most. Should she give up her chase and just live her life with Sesshomaru? That did sound kind of nice not having to worry about Inuyasha and Kikyo. Not having to stress about when she would be able to get her revenge in and to make it good for how long she had to practice in her era. Her revenge. That was the whole purpose of her coming back to the feudal era. Her intentions turned into something greater. That something was Sesshomaru. If she never came back she wouldn't be the way she was now. She shook her head and had eyes of determination. She would not stop she needed to get her revenge over with. She wanted to achieve her goal and then live her life out with Sesshomaru. This decision was final. With that Kagome walked into the hut seeing that she had just made it home.
Kagome entered the hut and was greeted to see her family friends and her new family. Well part of it anyway. Shippo was first to greet Kagome. As he jumped into her arms he squealed," Mommy!" That brought Kagome out of her disappointment and she happily said," Hey Shippo! How was my little boy today?" Shippo beamed and said," It was great mommy! I got to color a lot of pretty pictures and I got to go outside and play in the meadow." Kagome smiled and said," That's great honey! How about you get washed up with Sango while I make dinner hm?" Shippo nodded his head and said," Yes mommy." And out the door he went with Sango who flashed Kagome a smile before she left. Kagome then proceeded to make dinner which would be beef stew and rice. As she cooked she talked to Miroku who was guarding the hut. Just as dinner had finished cooking Sango and Shippo had just returned from their bath. The four ate dinner happy to be together when they felt a presence they knew all too well.  Kagome put down her bowl and went over to the flap in front of the doorway and pushed it open to see that it was Sesshomaru. Kagome automatically smiled and let Sesshomaru in. With that everyone was in high spirits and were talking together. Everyone was in high spirits until Shippo was put to bed and Kagome told them about her day. Things got serious after Kagome told about her day. Sango said," Are you sure you don't need any help with this Kagome? I would gladly help if you need some.' Kagome smiled and Sango's offer but Kagome declined saying," No I'll be fine Sango. Besides this is between me and those two anyway." Sango kind of unsure about this said," Okay. Just let me know if you want help I'll be open to it anytime." Kagome said," Thanks Sango."
Everyone was silent for awhile thinking about this situation. Kagome let her mind wander. So far every time she gets close to starting her revenge something always gets in the way. For example Goku and that lady in the village today. How was she suppose to do anything if things like this kept getting in her way? Then there was another really good question. Was someone watching her? Was it Naraku? She had no clear way of figuring that out. It was for a fact something that could be possible but why was the question. Why was that someone or Naraku watching her? What did they want from her? She then realized there was no way that someone could be watching her. For all those people knew was that Kagome was a foreign girl. Which for a fact she was. She wore different clothes from these people and came from a different era so how could anybody possibly be watching her? Now that she had that settled she still had the problem of trying to figure out a way to get her revenge without being interrupted. Then an idea hit her.
Kagome jerked herself out of her thoughts and loudly said," I got it! I know how I can get my revenge!" The others looked at her in question asking her to explain why she so suddenly just shouted like that. Kagome said," Well first things first. The location of the fight will be in the forest. Nobody goes in there anyway. Only the bravest of people go in there and theres demons so it should keep humans out. The demon part though I have that taken care of. I'll just put up a barrier so no demons or humans can get in no matter how hard they try. Now to get Inuyasha and Kikyo to fight me that's the long part. It might take weeks to get them to actually do something. But anyway maybe you guys can help. So to get Inubaka and Clay pot to fight we could just banter them with bad comments. For example Miroku you could be holding a conversation with Inuyasha and then you could give him a comment that you have heard about the current situation he and Kikyo are in with me and that you think that I could best the both of them without trying. Now knowing Inuyasha he has a big temper and can lose his cool pretty quickly. He also takes things the wrong way so he may think that Miroku is calling him and Kikyo weak. We continue this process for a while until one of them cracks.There is one thing that I think is key to this whole thing. The first time I was going to get revenge on them I said a horrible comment about Kikyo and Inuyasha cracked. He got seriously pissed at me. So what I'm saying is that we should target them with horrible comments about the the mate. It will make them crack a lot faster and get to me getting my revenge faster too. So are any of you up for it?
Sango, Miroku, and Sesshomaru stared at Kagome for a moment trying to take her whole plan in. Sesshomaru said," I have to decline love. I have to be in the shadows remember? If he finds out about us before we even break news to them it will ruin the surprise. I can help in another way though. I can like before be your second wind. If you fall back I can help by taking over the fight. I despise the two of them anyway." Kagome found this acceptable and nodded her head in agreement to Sesshomaru's offer. Sango said," I could give this a try. But only for a little while. I know that you don't like Kikyo but as you said before this is between you and them so what I'm saying is that I can't strain my relationship to her that would only make us enemies and I certainly don't want that." Kagome also found what Sango was saying reasonable so she agreed. Miroku said," I would be happy to offer my help Lady Kagome. Anything to have a little fun teasing my hanyou friend. But as Sango said only for a little while." Kagome then said," Alrighty then let's start putting this plan into action tomorrow. Just start out slow so you can find little strategies here and there to make your comments come out smooth so it doesn't seem like you're saying those things on purpose." With that they all agreed and went to bed or in Sesshomaru's case back to the forest for some rest.
