Chapter 1

Have you ever felt excitement and fear at the same time? Well that's what I'm feeling right wanna know why well let me tell you at this very moment I'm auditioning for the voice Australia I've been wanting to Audition for the show ever since I first saw it.

But first before this story goes on any further let me introduce my self my name is Riki Brooks and I'm 17 years old and I'm the youngest of three older brother Beau whose the oldest and Jai and Luke who are the same age and they are twins and they are in a group called the janoskians with two others named James and Daniel and there is my mother gina and we are all from Melbourne I have light brown hair with blonde streaks and I am quite tall for my age and I also have braces which I absolutely hate but yeah now you know who I am lets get back to the story

I take step after step bracing myself for what is in store I don't know who the judges are and thoughts were going through my head what if I fall and make a fool of my self "what if I'm no good " what if none of the judges turn around I suddenly felt someone tap my shoulder pulling me out of my thoughts I swiftly turned my head to see it was Beau"Riki relax you will do amazing " I gave him a quick smile before I went back into thought but before I could get to deep into thinking I heard one of the crew men"RIKI BROOKS TO THE STAGE RIKI BROOKS TO THE STAGE " I took a quick breath in before looking to my family they all gave me a great big hug before sending me on my I grabbed my microphone off the crew man before heading onto the stage

KESHA'S P.O.V
Being a judge on this show is super hard all you have to decide is on the contestants voice and all the judges this year are very competitive there's myself,birdy, Shannon noll and the newest edition Lenny Pearce from justice crew .

The first contestant had been on his name was jack little and sadly none of the judges turned there chairs so hopefully the next contestant would have more luck .We waited for a few minutes until we heard the clicking of shoes against the floor so it was obviously a girl lets see how this goes .

RIKI'S P.O.V

I was now upon the stage nervous has hell but I managed to keep it down I found my place on the stage before looking up to the back of the chairs I looked at one of the crew men to let them know I was ready for the music to start here goes nothing I thought

Staring at the sink of blood and crushed veneer.

I got through the first part of the song and I could see the judges throwing their hands around oh god they think I'm horrible I could feel tears Brimming in my eyes but I pulled my self together to continue on

Sullen load is full, so slow on the split.

I had my eyes closed not waiting to watch everyone and not wanting my family to see me crying but suddenly I heard a noise which caused me to open my eyes and what happened really shocked me two of the judges had turned around and I was really surprised who it was .it was birdy and Lenny Pearce from justice crew suddenly I got a rush of confidence in me to finish the song .

By the last couple of words I sang I was so shocked because all the judges had turned around I suddenly heard the crowd cheering it suddenly died down before Shannon started talking to me

S: hey cutie what's your name

Me: Riki Brooks

S: what beautiful name to go along with a beautiful voice " a huge smile appears on my face once he says that birdy then starts to talk to me

Bir: babe why you crying
Me: I thought you guys hated me so I got a bit emotional

Bir: awe babe" birdy then gets up from her chair and comes and gives me a hug the crowd was cheering and screaming my name birdie went back to her seat before Kesha started to talk

K: how old are you Hun

Me :I'm 17

K: wow you were amazing any of us judges will be so lucky to have a girl like you on our team" I looked over to Lenny thinking he had something to say like the rest of the judges but all he did was look down to his feet

Me: thank you so much"

k: so whose your favourite judge sweet pea"

Me: I am a big of justice crew but you all mean so much to me I don't think I'll be able to choose " the crowed awed at my comment Lenny quickly glanced up at me but soon looked away birdy then asked me one last question

Bir: so Riki do you have any family here today

Me : yes I have my three brothers my mum and my Nona and Nono

Soon after I finished my sentence Beau ,Luke and jai walked out upon the stage

Bir: so these are your " I nodded in reply

me: my brothers Beau , Luke and Jai " I said

before anyone could say another word Kesha spoke up

K omg are your brothers those uhhh what are they called jabroskin janos.... janoskias thats it" the boys smiled know that kesha knew who they were

Bir: so boys who do you think your sister should choose" i looked to the boys and Jai spoke up

J: all of you are great and I know who every my sister chooses will leaded her to greatness

Bir: ok well Riki its decision time who do you choose ...
