CHAPETER 1: AN ODD BEGINING TO AN ODD END.
RUSSIA 1954
Yes, it was white.
It felt as though the whole globe was dressed in snow. Like it had pulled it on, the way you pull on a sweater.
Next to the train line, footprints were sunken to their shins. Trees wore blankets of ice.
As you might expect, someone had died. The question on my mind was who. i heard the shouting the screaming as gradually the nothingness comsummed me...

i woke up to the feeling of cold and dread. my where abouts unknown to me.
"Aron. Aron" i screamed my brothers name. no reply. now i felt the worry. i got up from the position i was lying in to get a better look at my setting. the room was so white it felt almostt sterile. too clean, too cold. i then heard the voices. i turned arond to see a small and rather round man in a white coat and a all to thin woman with loose brown hair she had a kind face and the sevre suit she was wearing just didnt go well with her original feel.
"poor girl so young so full of life" the woman said voice over flowing with symathy. "Dr.Schmidt what was the C.O.D"
"ah see here is were the mystery lies. Many bones in tthe body may be broken but none of them serious enough to cause death. In short there is no scientifc justification for her death" This man however sound oddly ammused and it seemed as the the woman agree.
"Dr it sometimes worries me that you indulege a little to much when it comes to the matters of death" she said looking slightly disgusted.
"that may be so but i still get the job done" humour playing on his voice.
i was standing behind the pair and it dawned on me that they should have spotted me or at the mostt acknowledged my existence by now.
"next of kin" she said apruptly changing the topics.
"ah... yes" loking down at his chartas"a borther... Aron Demeter" my blood ran cold is as i moved around them to the other side or the cold slab. scielence rang through my brain like a silent drill as a stared at a broken, batered and mostt importantly dead me.
"identification says the vic was Maya Alexandra Demter"
My vision went blurry and soon enough black.
