Chapter 1

Rose

Suddenly I sat up in bed awoken from my sleep, my heart pounding in my chest, this would be the second time that I have had the same dream within a week. Me lost in some woods, with long sharp like needles coming from the roots of the trees that surrounded me, along with thick fog that hung in the air. Though the fog was thick I could see eyes in front of me, glowing purple eyes that seemed to only get closer as I slowly started to back away. Suddenly a powerful wind comes from out of nowhere knocking me off balance, and unto the long sharp thorns coming up from the bottom of the trees, but before the thorns impaled me I wake up.

BEEP! BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!

My alarm clock blared loud making me jump, knocking me out of the thoughts of my dream, that stuck like glue in my brain, wishing it was the weekend I blew off the thought, and got up to get ready for school.
Noticing that I would be late for school in ten minutes quickly I put on my black skinny jeans, white vans, and my black, and red flannel shirt leaving my short blue tipped blond hair down, picking up my school bag, I rushed down stairs.
Normally my mother would be down stairs cooking breakfast, but that hasn't happened since mom got her new job as head of security.
Picking up a muffin off of the plate from the table I headed outside, before I could get out of the door good heavy rain greeted me outside the door.
Sighing picking up my umbrella off the wall by the door stepping outside I closed the door behind me opening up my umbrella heading down the street to school.
As I started to walk I noticed that no one was walking to school, but me I couldn't be that that late to school, the rain seemed to come down harder as I began to speed walk a little.
Suddenly I stopped hearing more than my footsteps behind me, quickly turning around to see someone behind me I saw no one, shaking my head I realized maybe it was just my footsteps that I was hearing.
Turning back around I started back walking again, then the sound of running footsteps sounded behind me, quickly I stopped, and turned back around to once again see no one.
Then for some strange reason ,my dream popped back up in my head, only the part where the eyes were coming at me from the fog, then the strong gust of wind that knocked me off my feet unto the sharp like needles.
Suddenly a hand on my shoulder that caused me to jump, snapped me out of my thoughts, with my heart beating out of my chest I turned around to see my friend Jamie behind me.

"Jesus, Jamie you almost gave me a heart attack",

I said with my hand on my chest trying to calm myself, and my heart beat that I could now hear in my ears,

" sorry, I didn't mean to scare you, I was waiting for you outside my house, I just thought I'd come to you to see what was the hold up",

"It was nothing, I was headed your way just got a little side tracked, but we can go now don't wanna be late for school",

"Wow you care about being late to school, you must have really gotten side tracked".

"Oh, ha ha very funny",

Trying to fit under my umbrella we headed to school rain pouring down on us, though I couldn't shake the feeling that someone was following me before Jamie showed up, I knew I heard other footsteps behind me.

Chapter 2

"Damn it, we lost her",

I tried not to but I was giving up hope, after searching, and searching, and making the same mistakes over, and over we finally got it right this time. The one, the right one known as rose doesn't know who she is, it was up to the three of us to lead her back home, and take her from this world at which she doesn't belong.

" Calm down Mr. Overachiever, we've been watching her OK, soon she will be home before we know it",

Megan said trying to calm my rattled nerves, which was only slightly working, I could only think of how we could get his process moving quicker than now. We had to step our planning up , we needed quick results since its been months before finding the right Rose,
