No music for this part, sorry.

It was a few days later since the incident.

Everyone waited in a large, circular room with large, ring-shaped stand in the middle. Everyone that was in high point of command was there, which consisted of Eren, commander of the Guardians and was accompanied by Armin and Mikasa; Hanji Zöe, the commander of the Scouting Regiment and was accompanied by Jean Kirschtein and Connie Springer; Elijah, the commander of the Garrison faction (dark hair, large, and blue eyes) and was by his two guards; and Raphael, the commander of the Military Police (yellow hair, thin, and brown eyes) and was next to his guards.

Eren made his way over to Hanji.

"I thought I heard a lunatic," he joked.

"This coming from the psycho who wanted to 'kill them all'," Hanji replied with a smile.

Eren chuckled and gave her a hug. He was slightly taller than her now.

"How are you?" he asked, "It's been... what? Two years?"

"Two and a half," she answered.

"And you still managed to look the same as you did nine years ago," the twenty-four year old responded. However, this wasn't entirely true. She had a few streaks of grey hair due to stress and lack of sleep. But other than that, she looked the same. Same hair, same glasses.

"So how are my two favorite Titans?"  the Scout Commander asked before noticing something, "Wait.... Where's Annie?"

"Conference is now in session," Erwin said aloud. The former commander was now Judge of the Regiments and oversees all Regiment activity.

"I'm afraid she might the reason for this meeting," Eren said as he walked over to his respected area by the ring, "Bet you three that she is."

"You're on Jaeger," Hanji agreed.

"The Military Police will now present their concerns," Erwin announced.

"Thank you," Raphael said, "Our main concern is over the further usefulness of Annie Leonhardt, the Female Titan."

Hanji tossed Eren a small pouch containing three tan colored coins. The Commander caught it and placed it in his jacket. Erwin slightly grinned while Raphael rolled his eyes.

"Our proposition is that Miss Leonhardt be put under more intense watch due to her failure earlier this week," the commander said, "Apparently, her abilities have become incontrollable."

"For you or for her?" Eren interrupted.

"Excuse me," Raphael resumed, "As I was say--"

"No," Erwin stopped the Police Commander, "Let us hear what Commander Jaeger has to say."

"Thank you," Eren said, "As you all know, Annie has been extremely cooperative since her emergence from her crystalline encasement. Since then, she has not once shown even the slightest bit of aggression towards us or humanity. Failures on her part are ridiculously rare. So if she's defeated, it means she's been highly overwhelmed either physically or mentally. The incident earlier was physically overwhelming for her and she couldn't focus. I have my friend, Armin, here to support me on this."

"Sir," Armin began, standing at attention, "when I witnessed the fight between Annie Leonhardt and the Armored Titan, her posture was sloppy and sluggish; she even began to stumble. It is highly unlike her to be so unprepared."

"And how does this apply to the Military Police's proposition?" Erwin asked.

"I say...," Eren started, "We lighten up on the supervision."

"What?!" Raphael exclaimed, "You're taking a large risk if you do that! We'd be better off if we killed her now while we can!"

"Why you little--," Elijah started, and the Commanders of the Garrison and Military Police began to argue.

Armin walked up to Eren and whispered into his ear, "It's funny. Nine years ago, the Military Police were begging for skills like her's and now they want to kill her because of them."

Eren couldn't help but smile at the thought.

"Order," Erwin shouted.

The two commanders stopped bickering.

"Scout Commander Hanji," the Judge called, "Do you have any scientific evidence to support Commander Jaeger's claim?"

"I do, sir," she replied, "I have noted that emotions, such as stress, at a critical point can negatively affect the Titan form. Certain attributes of the Titan form can, per say, 'malfunction' and lead to very harrowing conclusions. Therefore, I second Commander Jaeger's proposition to reduce supervision over Miss Leonhardt."

"I also support Jaeger's claim," Elijah added, "I feel people work better with more freedom."

"Then it's majority rules," Erwin announced, "Supervision of Annie Leonhardt will, hereby, be reduced for the sake of future successes and her own life. This conference is now dismissed."

Eren backed away and met up with Armin and Hanji.

"Thank God they didn't delve much deeper on Annie's condition," Armin said quietly, "No one else can know the real reason why she failed."

"I suggest we check up on her," Hanji proposed, "We need to see how her condition is progressing."

"We're being listened to," Mikasa said to the three, "Normal conversations."

Raphael was staring at them. He turned his head away when they looked at him.

"How are you holding up?" Eren asked Hanji.

"It's been hollow since Levi died," she replied, eyeing the gold ring the short captain had proposed to her with, "It feels as if I didn't do enough to save my husband."

"His death took a toll on all of us," Eren said, "All we can do now is make sure the memory of him lives on."

"I suppose you're right," the Scout Commander said.

"He made the right choice choosing you," the Guardian Commander complimented.

The captain's death was highly debated over. Reason why is that no one saw how he died. The only evidence of his supposed death was that they found a body chomped in half, which was too deformed to properly identify it as Levi, but wore his clothes. Unfortunately then, they didn't have the time to discuss it since they were surrounded by Titans. So they took the questionable body and gave him a proper burial, but that didn't stop tears from being shed.

"Let's go check on Annie," Armin said.

The Guardians and Scouts all exited the room.
