[[ every day passes like a decade without her. the shower which we used to share together pours upon my body as i stand beneath it and let my thoughts wander. it was meant to be a holiday trip for us when it happened. after months of working hard at our jobs, we had decided to take a vacation and go to the farmhouse in the countryside. everything was perfect. i had never seen so much happiness on her face before. i was the one driving. the stereo was playing an old rock band's music. ellie loved rock. she was singing along. we were in the middle of a canopy. the road was stranded. suddenly i saw someone standing right in middle of the road. it did not look like a human. i noticed a long bloody tongue sticking out of his mouth. he was smiling. i took a sharp turn to the left, away from the road and everything went dark. ]]
