Morgan's Pov

I was only 7 when it all happened; my  father drinking and abusing my mom and I, getting put into an orphanage, depression, and anxiety. It all started on a cold winters day, I had just gotten home from school to find tons of empty beer bottles everywhere; on the ground, the tables, the counter tops, the stove, and even the furniture. I walked upstairs to see my father beating my mom, all I could do was watch him punch an-and kick her and all she could do was beg and plead for mercy, before he could notice me I ran to my room and cried into my pillow.
Two months had past and my father stayed the same; abusive, drinking and better yet doing drugs. I had come home from my best friends house to find out my mother had died, I had begun to cry as i ran upstairs to my room. Ever since the day this happened I did nothing I'm just worthless and all I could do was stand there and let it happen, as I began to cry even more i ran to the bathroom and grabbed a razor and thats when anxiety and depression happened. Since, my mother had died my father began to abuse me instead for five months, one day while my father was at work my neighbor came to check in me she saw the bruises and scars , she asked me what happened and I tried to lie and say that I got in a fight at school but she didn't believe me I then told her what actually happened I told her how he abused my mother and I and how I cut and that he pushed me down the stairs and that he had raped me. The next day I heard police cars in the neighborhood my father ran up stairs and started yelling and punching me but before he could do anymore the cops busted down the door and arrested him then later took me to tell exactly what he had done and soon they had put me in an orphanage.
