"Parker?!"
I feel someone kicking me. I take out my earphones and look up and I see my best friend, Lalani or Lani for short. She gets mad if i call her by her actual name. I push her foot away and I pat the floor signaling her to sit with me.
"Why were you kicking me," I say.
"Well you didn't hear me call your name like fifteen times, and I was standing right in front of you. Are you okay?"
"Yeah I'm fine just tired. I just had my earphones in in full blast, and i was going to take a nap while waiting for my mom to pick me up from school."
We sit and talk for awhile. I look at her and analyze her. She has pretty clear and light skin and I look into her bright blue eyes. Her hair is long and dyed, a blue/green ombre style. She wears a black T-shirt that has a purple galaxy and light blue ripped jeans. I don't know why I am not attracted to her. She is very pretty. We have been friends since the 7th grade and I never had a crush on her, or had a crush on anyone for that matter. We are both juniors now and I don't think she even saw me in the way. Not that I care really because I wouldn't want to ruin the friendship.
Her mom pulls up into the parking lot and she gets up and says bye to me. I sit by myself and put my earphones back in my ears, and now analyzing everything in front of me. I see people laughing and some other people rushing trying to get somewhere. I wonder where. I wonder if they got some bad news and they are rushing home to cry in peace or something. I see a guy sitting by himself, thinking. Maybe he is planning a murder, he looks like he could kill someone. He seems pretty buff, he is probably a swimmer. I see a group of girls talking. I bet one of them hates the other and will backstab her in some way and then they both will start fighting with each other and then one of them would end up dead. I see another guy walking. I wonder what would happen if a big dog came from behind him and started attacking. Well, he would probably die, he doesn't have much muscle.
My mom pulls up and i walk up to the car. So much for that nap I was planning on taking. I get in the car and then just sit in silence while a more thoughts suffocate my brain. As she pulls out from the parking lot i see two people talking to each other. Yep. They're doing a drug deal I think to myself.
I get home and, like always, I went up the stairs into my room. I shut the door and play some music. I look around my room to make sure everything is where I left it. I don't like it if people come into my room without my permission and start moving things around. I look at my black walls and then glance toward my desk. I look out my window and then towards my bed. Everything seems untouched. As I lay on my bed that probably holds many dark secrets, I remember when Lani came over the other day she said it smells weird. I get up and look for some air freshener and spray the whole can around my room.
I start coughing because i sprayed too much. Oh no. I'm dying! This is how it's going to end! I'm going to die from too much freshener stuff, I start worrying to myself. I go downstairs and lean on a wall taking deep breathes. I now am realizing to myself that I probably can't die just from breathing in too much air freshener, at least I hope that's not possible. I start laughing at myself and head back up to my room when I stop and notice someone was outside. I gaze out the window and see a guy standing across the street. He has a black hoodie jacket and some black skinny jeans. He has straight black hair covering his face. He is staring back at me and watching me from my window.
I bet I can snipe that guy from here.
I smile at myself while hopping back up into room. I go into my closet and get a white T-shirt and some sweats. My mind goes back to Lani. I wonder if she ever had a crush on me. I decide to call her and ask her.
