Niall

I know most people have massive birthday parties, but this one isn’t one. Right now I’m just sitting in my flat surrounded by all the people I care about. My parents and brother had come down for my birthday but they had to leave before the party. Just the five people I care about most were with me tonight. Zayn, Louis, Harry, Liam, and the one that I just want to notice me, Kinley. There is something about her, maybe how dark her eyes and hair are, I haven’t been able to take my eyes off her.

It’s all just small talk and chatter, harassing the other boys. Kinley is really good at comebacks. She’s really funny and knows how to take a joke, I can’t help but laugh and tease her. I was pulled out of all of this thought when I heard Zayn calling my name.

“Niall, Niall!”

“What Zayn?”

“I need to talk to you privately!”

I follow Zayn into the other room.

“Its obvious you like each other Niall, so just go ask her out on a date!”

“I don’t know Zayn… She seems interested in Har-“

“She is interested in you! So man up and do it!”

I considered this, she is a very beautiful girl, if anyone else wants her they could rip her away from me. No doubt. I better ask her while I still can.

“Fine Zayn, I will. You’re right.”

I walk back into the living room, I spot her, she is sitting there talking to Harry. I make my fist step toward her but suddenly I was too late, because Harry was already leaning in to kiss her.
