Hello! So this is my first ever story I'm writing in English, and English isn't my first language, so I'm really sorry for any mistakes. You can always let me know when I make a mistake and I'll fix it right away.
I really hope you like my story, but if you don't, then please don't leave any hate comments. Hate won't be tolerated and I will delete the comments immediately.

Chapter 1: I guess the brown eyes weren't a coincidence after allI heard my alarm clock ringing. I wasn't happy to wake up, but fortunately I was that kind of person who got up right away and never pressed snooze. Usually I would wake up, brush my teeth and have a shower, get dressed, eat breakfast, say goodbye to my boyfriend and get to work. That was my routine, I loved routines. It gave me a sense of security, I felt comfortable doing it.
But not today. I was tired, my eyes were swollen shut from crying and I felt worthless. My boyfriend, or should I say my ex-boyfriend, broke up with me yesterday. And not just the usual 'I don't think this is working out, it's not you, it's me' kind of way. He came home, told me he is tired of me and that he had found someone better and more beautiful than me. It hurt. A lot.
But what's even worse, I had to get myself a new job. I worked in a sweet coffe shop down the road, but the salary wasn't big enough to support me and pay the bills. When we were still together it wasn't a problem. He had a job that payed him well, we didn't have any money problems.
I had two options. The first one being that i find myself a second job, much like the one I have now, and work two places at a time. Or the second option, which was that I get an entirely new job and quit my old one. I wanted to choose the first option badly, but sadly I worked in that cafe full time, which meant I didn't have time to work two places at once. That meant choosing the second opiton.
I still had to get to work today, I couldn't afford asking a day off. I rolled out of my bed and did my usual morning routine. Mark, my ex-boyfriend, still had some stuff here and it was painful to see his clothes. When I reached the bathroom I noticed that he had took his necessities with him, leaving only his empty after-shave bottle next to the sink. I picked the bottle up and sniffed in his familiar scent. I shouldn't do this I thought to myself and threw the bottle into the thrash bin.
Me and Mark met in college and we clicked instantly. Or at least that's what I thought. I studied maths in college, but I also took some psychology courses, I have always been fascinated by human's nature. He was into computers and also took some maths courses. That's where we met.
I felt some toothpaste on my chin and broke out of my thoughts. I had been brushing my teeth for too long already and I if I didn't move fast I would be late to work. My hair was still damp from the shower so I put it up into a bun. My boss insisted that all of the employees have to keep their hair up so it wont get into the food. I quickly put on my jeans and a shirt and grabbed my apron from the cupboard. I rushed to the kitchen while putting on my socks. When I reached the kitchen I took a granola bar inside the cabinet that I saved for days I was running late, like today.
I slid on my shoes and reached for my keys, bag and a cellphone that lied on a shelf and rushed out of the door. The cafe was near my apartement so I started speed walking towards the coffe shop. I rarely wore heels, mainly because my feet started hurting from wearing them and I was also quite tall for a girl.
I reached the cafe in no time and stepped inside. The smell of coffee and muffins filled my nose. Taking the apron from my bag and throwing it on I greeted my collegues happily and walked behind the counter. The coffe shop opens in about 45 minutes, so I started filling the sugar cups and placing them neatly on the tables.
