After a long while of waiting Amber notices Lucas pull into his driveway with a trailer attached. She curiously walks over and says "whatcha up to." "You'll see." He says walking into the trailer. Lucas walks out and a tall, silky, beautiful Quarter horse follows him.
"Amber meet Apollo." Lucas says patting the horses neck. Ambers jaw drops as she looks at Lucas's horse. "What discipline?" She asks.
"Western, Cutting, and Barrels." Lucas says proudly. Amber strokes apollos back "he's huge!". "Hes 16" hands." Lucas says leading the horse into his barn. "16" hands. He's Lily's size." Amber says thinking about one of her horses. "How cool!" Exclaims Lucas putting a new leather saddle on Apollos back.
"I'm gonna tack up Lily then." Amber walks back to her bar to tack her horse Lily.
As she picks Lily's hooves Apollo and Lucas walk in. Lily instantly perks up at the sight of a new comer. "Ready?" Lucas says.
"Almost. Let me put her bridle on really quick." Amber says grabbing for Lily's bridle.
Lily refuses to let Amber put the bridle on. Lily rears up and spooks Apollo. Apollos reins slip out of Lucas's hand and he goes running.
"Apollo!" Lucas exclaims not realizing Lily got off her lead. "Lucas!" Amber exclaims as Lily runs out of the barn. "I got this." He answers chasing Apollo and mounting him. They go running after Lily. "I almost got her!" He exclaims grabbing his rope. He get close to Lily and ropes her. "She's safe!" He exclaims trotting her back to the barn. "Thanks Lucas. That was a close one." Amber says quickly slipping on her bridle. "Now let's go for that ride." She says mounting Lily. "Ladies first. Right Apollo?" Lucas says patting Apollo.
Amber laughs and they ride to the trails.
