(I wrote this for a friends birthday...this isn't my normal genre sorry if it's a little awkward. x3)
Roy sat on his leather couch, his shirt off and a book in his lap. He was awaiting a text from his boyfriend to see if they were going to hang out tonight, his heart raced with every turn of the page. Page after page and no sign of a text, he put the book mark in and checked his phone since he didn't really trust it to go off. Nothing. A frown formed on his face and he felt the all too familiar ache in his chest, was he going to miss another chance to hang out? It had been a week since they'd seen eachother and Roy didn't know how much longer he could hold out. He set the phone back down and opened his book again only to put it back down a few seconds again.
He held his white samsung galaxy in his sweaty palms wishing upon the stars that the little light would glow and the sound of his ringtone would be heard. Again nothing. He leaned back and sighed, softly putting the phone on the couch next to him and placing an arm over his eyes as he leaned his head back. He could feel the stinging in his eyes that told him tears were threatening to fall, how could he so stupid? This wouldn't be the first time he was lied to by him, so he couldn't be too surprised. He'd often gone of without telling him anything he wasn't beneath just leave him hanging. He bit his lip and decided he'd call him. He lifted his head and grabbed his phone quickly finding his number in the speed dial, he waited in antipation as it rung, then it quickly went to voice mail. He looked at his phone as it had only taken six seconds, "Hey Issac...it's me...Roy. Duh you know that...heh...You are probably so tired of me pestering you but you were supposed to text me and...well tell me if we could hang out or something. Call me when you can...Love you." He hung up, he felt foolish. He placed his face in the palm of his hand, annoyed with himself.
Another hour passed and he was half through his book, nothing. He would continually check his phone, but the more he did the more he felt his heart crack. He couldn't shake this bad feeling, so he decided to check up on him. He put his book away and grabbed a clean black shirt and his keys. He made his way over to Issac's house and found the lights on, he found than just lights, many cars were parked in his drive way. One car he recognized, it was Aaron's car, Issac's ex. He peeked through the window found a party going on, why wasn't he invited? He spotted him, a shining light in his dim world with....Aaron. He grabbed onto his chest as they got closer together, their lips almost touching. He turned away and slid down the wall and sat on the grass, he clutched his chest, tears falling and making his eyes puffy. He must have sat there for a good hour or two before the party started to die down, couples holding hands and laughing drunkenly. He felt the resentment building up inside him, he noticed Aaron wasn't one of those people leaving.
Aaron and Issac had made their way half drunk half sober way down the hall to Issac's room where they both fell on the bed. Their fingers intertwined together while their lips met, "I'm sorry I was a bad boyfriend." Aaron slurs, talking through the kiss. Issac smiled, "It was both our fault. You weren't a bad boyfriend. Let's not focus on the past and just focus on now." Then they continued to kiss. Roy now stood just outside the bedroom door, listening. His hand shook as it took hold of the door knob, in the other was a large and shiny butcher knife. He wasn't going to lose his light, he couldn't go back into the darkness. He couldn't. He refused. He heard the bed squeak as they rolled over, and soft moans could be heard from Issac as Aaron began to kiss his neck. The room was dim when he entered, watching the scene before he awaited his time to strike. Aaron moved back up and began kissing him again, it was then Issac felt warm liquid dripping onto his neck. He opened his eyes and saw the sharp tip of the blade sticking out of Aaron's neck, his eyes widened as it was pulled out and Aaron began gasping and grasping at his throat. There was swift motion and the blade was in Aaron's temple, his body slumps to the side as it's pushed off the blade. Issac's eyes gaze at the blade then at the hand holding it, his eyes travel up the arm, to the muscular shoulder, then to the wicked grin upon his currents boyfriends face. "Roy." Was all he could muster in his shock.
"I'm sorry, Aaron. I couldn't let you take my only light." Roy says to the dead body, blood staining the sheets. "You...you're a monster!" Issac screams, "You killed Aaron! My Aaron! I'm calling the police! You fucking lunatic! You're going to the chair for this you prick!" Roy was a little taken aback by his sudden out burst when he'd finally realized what Roy had done. He sat up but the blade was quickly at his throat, he gazed into the uncaring eyes of Roy. They weren't the same green eyes he'd gazed into many times, they were those of a cold monster. "Don't say such things, sweetie. I did this for us. He was corrupting your light. I was lost, I'm sorry I had to get rid of him. Don't fight me, please." Roy pleaded, slowly lowering the blade from his throat, "I love you, Issac. I can forgive this transgression. Just tell me you love me...just this once." Roy smiles, getting a little closer to him. Issac kicks him in the stomach before grabbing his cell phone and began running to the door, Roy huddles over in pain his arms wrapped around his stomach. "My light...don't leave." He reaches out his hand with the blade, his vision blurry. "He already corrupted you." He slowly fell to his knees, tears streaming down his cheeks.
Issac ran down the stairs, his fingers clumsily trying to dial 911 but his panic would allow it. He was just about to open the door when he felt a hand push it back closed. He turned slowly and was face to face with an angry Roy, his eyes even more dead than before. His other arm was still wrapped around his stomach, his face slowly leant foreward. His lips slowly met Issac's forehead, while the dagger went into his abdomen. He dropped his cell phone as his eyes went wide and he slid down the door leaving a blood smear. He knelt down next to Issac and kissed him firmly on the lips, an irony taste in his mouth now as his tongue roamed his lights mouth. He removed his lips and placed his forehead on his, "I love you, my light." The dagger was now in his temple.
Issac's body was found two days later by his parents that were coming to visit him. In the cops report, Issac's head and heart were missing but everything else was there. They also found Aaron's body in Issac's bedroom. They had found the murder weapon not far from the house. They banged on Roy's door, once they got it open they found him in the middle of the room. He was cradling something, they didn't know what it was until they got up on him. It was Issac's head, and the heart was kept in a jar full of preservitves. All the heard was him mumbling, "My Light...My light...My light that keeps away the dark."
