The air was cold and sadness drew across the sky. The flowers were gone from the ground and the snow had fallen from the heavens to cover all the land. The snowflakes slowly hit the ground as the snow got deeper and deeper. The snow was unknown to Justin Kaido, with fear he slowly walked in the snow.
"Stupid white stuff go away, I'll use my LBX to destroy you if you don't go."
Justin looked like a complete idiot talking to the snow. Van Yamano saw Justin talking to the snow. Van walked up to Justin looking confused.
"Justin, what in the world are you doing?"
"I'm trying to get rid of this stuff, but it won't listen to me." Justin replied with annoyance.
Van laughed out loud but soon realized that Justin wasn't joking.
"Well it's snow Justin. It's kinda like cold rain, it comes in the winter and you can't get rid of it. It also can't hear you, this must be your first winter huh?"
"Yeah I don't even know what winter is." Justin replied.
Justin looked confused and embarrassed knowing he just made a fool of himself. Van laughed some more joyfully and put his arm around Justin's shoulder.
"You look cold Justin, would you like to come to my house? You'll be warmer there."
Justin smiled knowing that someone cared about him.
"Sure Van, I'd love to." Justin answered happily.
They both walked to Van's house in the freezing cold air and as they went into his house, they could feel the warmth hitting their faces like rain. Van turned on the fireplace warming up the house with a winter feel. Justin sat down on the sofa chilling out. Van sat down next to him with a big smile on his face.
"Justin, would you like anything? How about a hot chocolate."
"What's that?" Justin replied looking confused.
"You don't know what hot chocolate is? Well, you came to the right place, I'm good at making them. You just sit down and make yourself at home, I'll go make us both one."
Van went into the kitchen to make two hot chocolates. Justin looked deep into the fire as his thoughts went around him like the fiery flames in the fire.
"Why is Van being so nice to me? I thought he hated me, and why do I feel warm inside when it's freezing cold? Why do I just want to hug him and care for him when two weeks ago I wanted to have an LBX rematch with him? My tummy hurts yet, I feel so happy. I wonder if Van feels the same. I think I'm in love..."
Van came back with the hot chocolate. The hot steam from the hot chocolate drifted up into the air. As Justin held the cup burning his hands slightly, he looked at Van sitting next to him still as happy as always.
"Van, there's something I need to tell you..."
"What's that Justin?" Van asked curiously.
Justin felt nervous and was trying so hard not to say the words in his mouth, yet all of his emotions was in his heart. He held Van's hand smiling like he never did before and looked deeply into Van's hazel eyes. Knowing words would never say how he felt, he used his heart and slowly went up to kiss Van. Van looked shocked yet, he didn't hold back and as they both kissed, the warmth inside their hearts filled the room with joy. They both loved every moment of the kiss and never wanted to let go. But as the wind always blows away the heat, Amy Cohen went through the door seeing them kissing. Van and Justin saw Amy and let go straight away in embarrassment. Amy's eyes filled up with tears and ran out the door crying her heart out. Van felt bad inside and went up to her. Justin held Van's arm not wanting him to go.
"Van just leave her, you love me don't you?"
Van's eyes slowly dripped with tears and slowly looked away from Justin.
"I don't know Justin, I don't know."
Van ran out the door. Justin's heart felt broken as Van shut the door in front of him. Justin, not wanting to leave Van's house, just laid there looking into the fire seeing nothing but hate.
