One spring, sad dog day a five year old dog, changed into a warmer day. They called her Spring, because of her love of happiness.
Spring had five older brothers, and was the youngest of all of them. In the cold, stormy days she got sad and visited the other dogs who made her sad. She asked them "why aren't you happy?" Or "why are you sad?" They all replied the same, there is nothing to make us happy. So then why aren't you doing anything about it.
So the next morning she visited the storm king and wondered why are you making everyone so sad? He had no reply instead she just got a tilt in the head and a puzzled face. She said that all he was doing was making everyone mad. Then with a low, quiet voice he said we have to have rain for crops and lakes. Or else it would be as hot as the dessert.
Then she went back the other dos and explained everything and they understood. So then and on she was no longer sad. And everything changed in a weird, happy, dog way.
