Prologue:

year 2010, Kaitlin is 16 and lives with her parents in Mulligar, ireland. Her Dad Drinks and her mum does lots of heavy drugs. every Night her dad comes home and beats the shit out of her, and in the morning her mum gives her verbal abuse. one Night after a particularly nasty beating she packed her backpack and jumped out of her Window and since her room was on the second floor, she jumped onto to the roof just below her Window. she slid down the drain Pipe and ran away to the park just a block from her house.

she got there and sat down and a couple tears slid from her green eyes, sliding down her bruised cheek. a cold breeze blew her Long blonde hair back from her face. when she heard a voice...

"Hey!" she turned around squinting in the darkness to try and see but there was no one.

"you! da blonde!" the voice came again kaitlin again looked around...no one. "Look up blondey" the voice said a little amused. Kaitlin looked up and in the tree was a girl! the girl jumped from the tree and walked over to kaitlin. " where you live?" the girl asked blowing a bubble from the gum she was chewing

"why do you want to know?" kaitlin defended....

"so i can take you home....this is the wrong part of town for girlies Such as yo self..." she said with a nother bubble. she came out of the tree's shadow and into the light. this girl was irish, her accent thick, she was about 5'7(shorter than kaitlin, she is 5'9 but her confedence half her towering over kaitlin) and had short black hair that was choppy and messy. her make up was dark and heavy but not caked on, She also had Snake bites and her eyebrow was pierced with a ring, and tattoos up and down her arms...The Girl was wearing a pink floyd musle tee and shorts the were ripped up under them she wore ripped tights and black converes. this girl scared kaitlin. kaitlin had Blue jeans and a t-shit on with purple vans, her hair long, curly and blonde and no make up. the girl stepped close she gray eyes Pierced Kaitlins green ones. "go on tell me..." she said again a bubble *pop*

"I....I ran away" kaitlin studder out. the Look of shock on the girls face as she looked at kaitlin and saw the bruises on her face...

"did they hit you?" she asked sturnly. kaitlin nodded. "im Da Queen...but everyone calls me Q." the girl said grabbing kaitlin's bag and putting her other arm around her shoulder and they started to walk. "whats yours?" Q asked.

"my...my name?" Q nodded. "Kaitlin..."

"well kaitlin you are one of us now...she said and walked over to a man hole pulling it up and motioned for kaitlin to go in and she did...Why? she had no where to go and she sure as hell was no going back home.

Q. closed the Man hole and climbed down,

Meeting kaitlin at the bottom and as kaitlin looked around she noticed that is was dark but light up at the same time. and it did not have the smell that you would expect it wasnt bad but not great aswell...the place was just like a underground Mulligar! "come here!" Q yelled and they walked into a buliding and the inside was increible! there was a big chair and a red carpet that led to it..

"Q! God we have been worried sick! where have you been?!" a boy said he had a ruff Look like Q has. his hair green and he had a lip piercing and ripped gray skinny jeans, and a T-shirt with the greatful Dead on it.

"cool it Jaws! Im back and I got a newbie" she said and pointed to kaitlin who was distracted by a case the said 'DO NOT TOUCH' on it....she broke it....*face palm*

"HEY LOOK WHAT YOU JUST DID! GOD! WHO ARE YOU!? WHO LET INTO THE PALACE!?" Jaws yelled. and angrly walked over to kaitlin.

"im kaitlin....and-" Jaws cut her off.

"oh god you still have your cursed name!"

"what is a cursed name?" she asked.

"the name your parents gave You...." he sighed.

"cool your jets jaws!" Q walked over.."she is my....princess..."

"what I was next in line for rule!" jaws said

"too bad I like her..." Q said sticking out her tounge.

"me? princess?" kaitlin asked....

"yes and I am the Queen of this place we all call home and you are my princess... and your new name is....Rebel cause you broke that do not touch case." Kaitlin was in shock! her a Queen? well that explains her bring Q... "this place is called Craic...and it is an underground refuge for the teenage runaways.....
