To me, my family is unique. The women are strong, dependable and intelligent. The men are wise, funny and supporting. Not only do I look like my mother, but we have similar personalities. We are both strong minded, creative, independent and try our best to strive for success. My family is strict to a certain degree. Sometimes it feels pressuring for everyone always telling me that they only want the best of the best from me. It feels like I'm mostly putting pressure on myself because I know that my siblings look up to me. So if I fail, I failed for life  and it will affect how they see me. My world will continue to crumble if they see me this way. My father though, he was very wise. There was never a time I felt he made a mistake. He was my bestfriend and I used to go to him for any advise. He'd tell me not to worry about the future because all that I needed to be concerned with is what I choose to do now in the present.

Even though my father is no longer with us, I still find him admirable. Always have, Always will. I always thought my father and mother were a good match. My mother, who was outgoing and had a bad temper, would always find peace within my father, who was the 'go with the flow' type of person. I miss my father a lot. I think about him everyday. He was funny, goofy, and loved to play videogames. He was also a huge fan of hip hop and had tried to teach 'hip hop 101'. He fought a 2 year battle with cancer. I'm sort of confused on my feelings though. I'm sad that I'll only get to see him in pictures now, but I'm glad he's at peace and no longer hurting. Someday I might be fully healed. Only time can tell.

My little sister and brother are also some type of blessing to me even though they're annoying. I'm proud to be the big sister. Actually I wasn't supposed to the oldest. Years ago, my dad and mom had been expecting a baby (which was not me), but sadly they had lost the baby before it was born. So often I wonder what my older brother/sister would have been like and I'm kind of glad that my dad's with hm/her now. But, back to my siblings. My little sister, mimi, is very beautiful. She is outgoing, dramatic and optimistic and I'm proud to call her my shinning star, who I'll happily guard. My little brother, Kaiden, is unique, quirky and lives in his own world which no one understands. I see him as a little soldier ready for war, my little buddy. He often says'I'm the man of the house' and that he'll protect us. I just laugh, but sometimes I think he's serious, so I'm glad he'll be there.

Last but not least is my tiny dog, dakota, who I call my baby is loved by everyone in the family including the non-dog lovers. In the end, my family stands behind me like an army.
