I stalk off in the direction of the hanger bay. I can hear the footsteps of Poe and the Stormtrooper following closely behind. Leading the way, I sneak them into the hanger. A Tie Fighter catches my eye and move in that direction. I Force jump to the top hatch and open it. I slide in and boot everything up.

"I've always wanted to fly one of these," Poe says, sliding into the cockpit with me.

"Who said you were flying this bucket, fly boy?" I growl as I get everything ready for flight. The Stormtrooper slides into the gunner's seat behind me.

"Do you know how to fly this?" They both ask. I growl and push Poe away from the console.

"As a matter of fact, I do. This isn't the first time I've escaped the First Order," I snap. "Poe, close the hatch, we're taking off," I order. He stares at me in surprise for a moment then carries out the orders.

I start taking off only for the Tie to be yanked. "Ugh! Shit!" I exclaim.

"We're still attached to the charging port," the trooper informs me from the gunner's seat. I growl.

"No shit, Sherlock!" I yell as I hit the power full throttle. We zoom through the hanger bay and out into space.

"What?" Both he and Poe question in unison. I sigh and continue flying. In moments, we are being fired at.

"Got a name trooper?" Poe asks behind me, as I twirle and spiral the Tie avoiding the lasers being shot at us.

"He has a number but he doesn't know his name," I interject. "Like this trooper I met on the star destroyer. I named him Danny." I hope he's ok...

I was so concentrate on flying that I didn't hear the trooper's response and I hear is Poe naming him Fin.

"Nice to meet you, Fin. I'm Katrin that's Poe. We good now?" I ask, irritably. Poe shifts behind me.

"Are you always like this?" He questions as I continue to fly. I hit a couple buttons and check the sensors for damage.

"Nope. Kylo pissed me off and these stupid fighters behind us are also pissing me off. Fin, fire!"

"Your fancy flying is making it difficult!" He answers, as I spiral us past one of the star destroyer's cannons. The Tie shakes as he fires at it. Poe and Fin start whooping behind me so I guess he hit it.

'Katrin,' a voice calls in my head. It takes a moment to register who it is. It has been years since I've heard this voice.

'Dad?' I ask. I get no response so I shake it off. Suddenly, the Tie is hit. "Ugh! Dammit!" I yell as I struggle to regain control as we fall into the desert planet of Jakuu. I tune everything else out as I try to save us.

The hull becomes hotter and hotter as we fall further into the atmosphere. Pieces of the hull fall off as we continue our crashing descent. The ground gets closer and closer then everything is black.

-timeskip--dream-

I walk in the darkness. Everything is calm and peaceful, then the scene changes. Hard wood floor, a table covered in books and loose papers, two beer bottles on the table, that musty book smell. Everything indicates a home I used to know so well. Tears well in my eyes.

I was eight when dad and my uncles sent me away to save me. I was being hunted by the things my family hunted. Creatures most of the population didn't know about didn't think were real. It was a difficult lifestyle we lived. Always moving. Always hunting. Always in danger. But I was never actually in danger. I stayed at the hotel with one of the three. Sometimes someone would come home injured and I would help patch them up.

"Katrin," a familiarly deep voice says. Turning around I see my father. His slightly shaggy black hair sticks up in some places, his tie still not tied properly over his white button up shirt. And he's still wearing that tan trench coat he always wore.

Tears begin falling down my face. "Daddy?" I ask. His light blue eyes that reflect my own soften as he nods. I run into him and wrap my arms around his torso and sob. He wraps his arms around me and strokes my hair like I would with Kyren.

"Sshhh. It's alright. I came to tell you that you're going to be ok. I'm bringing you home soon. It's safe for you now," he says gently. I pull away.

"I can't leave just yet," I say, wiping my eyes. He stares at me in confusion.

"I don't understand," he says, shaking his head. I take a deep breath and let it out slowly.

"I have someone I have to take care of and I have yet to get back to her. I have been doing the best I can to protect her I need to be there for her. If I'm going back, I'm taking her with me. She needs a better life then the one she's lived so far," I say not looking at him. "I can't leave yet."

I feel a hand on my shoulder and look up into my father's eyes. "It is alright. You're not ready to come home yet. You are so much like your uncle sometimes," he says with a small smile. I laugh as everything fades.

Hot. Everything is really hot. I groan and open my eyes. Sand. That's all I see. God, I hate sand. It gets freaking everywhere. I look around and see Tie parts all over the place. Rolling onto my back I look behind me and see the Tie. I groan again.

"I'll visit again soon, little angel," dad's voice fades away from my mind. I smile sadly and stubble feet.

"Finn! Poe! Where are you?" I call. My voice cracks from the dryness. I take my helmet off and wipe my forehead. "Finn! Dammit where are you guys?!"
