I sat and I waited. It's been a week, and I have no plans for her rescue. Not because we don't want to find her, but we just can't.

Anthony has been searching day and night for any traces of the large animal in and outside of the city, but there was nothing. It's almost as if the animal had disappeared.

Three months later, and she's no where to be found. Christmas, New Years, and even Valentine's Day has passed. I returned to our home in New York in hopes of getting help from the group.

"She's gone? Again?" Liam asked when I walked right into the meeting hall. I requested that all of the boys join us today to ask in for their help in finding my girlfriend.

"Could ya let me tell everyone before you start ravaging in my brain?" I rolled my eyes and took my seat at the head of the table.

"It's true, Kaylie was kidnapped. Willingly, but still kidnapped," I spoke and crossed my hands on the cool marble table.

"When did this happen?" Captain straightened his back and stared at me intently. I could feel the hatred he has gained for me since I've started dating Kaylie from across the table.

"Three months."

Captain rose to his feet quickly and made his way over to my chair. The fury in his face was wild and I knew I was in for it.

"Three fucking months?! Why wouldn't you tell anyone?! She could've been home now, for all we know she could be dead! You fucking idiot! If she were with me she wouldn't even had left my arms! You blond bastard!"

"She chose me over you!"

"She left me because I didn't wait for her. And I've regret it for the rest of my life! Yet I still protect her, together or not. You're fucking lucky I put a tracker on her when she was eighteen," Captain mumbled and walked from the meeting hall.

"What the fuck?"

"Guys, come on. He's gonna pull up the GPS," Liam announced and followed Captain into the hallway. We found him sitting behind his expensive computer and his desk, typing away at rapid speeds.

"You're kidding!" Captain laughed and slapped his hands on his thighs.

"Where is she?" I asked but Captain just sent me a nasty glare around the screen.

"You'd know if you actually tried to find her. But anyways, she's here in New York."

"Then let's go get her!"

"No. The fact that she's here means either she's free, or trying to get free. I know her better than you do, and if we act now, we'll only mess up her plan."

"You tried to drag me for not 'trying hard enough' to find her, but when we actually can, you want us to wait?!" I screamed. Everyone looked at me with surprise in their faces. No one dared to disobey Captain's orders.

"You left her for three months, I just need a day."

She stood there, tall and strong. The man sat atop of the beast yet again, but he was much bigger and stronger than what I last saw. They must've treated her well for a captive.

"How exactly are we going to get my sister back?" Anthony whispered behind me. I asked him to fly in urgently and join us today.

"She doesn't seem to be bound to anything. She looks as if she's there by consent."

Why haven't you run? I thought to her.

I'm not running from them.

Why not? I asked again.

We agreed that I come to New York for something. We agreed I could come to hurt you.

Princess, why would you hurt me?

You fucking left me for dead.

She began to walk now, approaching the group.

"That's it? You're free?" Anthony asked when she came close enough.

"I'm not here for freedom," she growled and threw a punch at me. I did expect it but I didn't want to believe she was going to do this.

"Shit, Kaylie! Stop!" I yelled but she kept throwing punches my way.

"Guys, help!" I called out for them but they just watched.

"Maybe she's pissed you didn't come find her. You better take those hits boy," Captain laughed.

When she finally let up, I got back to my feet and tried to brush myself off but her hits were harder than usual and left more damage.

"None of you make a single move to follow me. One muscle and he'll kill me," Kaylie warned us and marched back to her captor.

"You're gonna leave her for dead again? Some boyfriend you are," Captain mumbled behind me. He'll kill her if I moved at all.

"I can't do much here. He obviously needs her for something, she's too well kept for an ordinary hostage. Besides, he'll kill her."

"Don't be a dumbass and let her leave. She's probably in hell with him, and she's one bitch that's hard to kill. Trust me, I've seen it all," he taunted me from the back. I knew that he was thinking of what he would do in his situation and they all lead to her safety and his dick getting sucked at the end of the night. He was purely thinking of him keeping her.

Kaylie had mounted the beast and then had just began to turn around when I began, "Run on three, ready?"

"One, two, three!" I yelled and we all took off towards her but were cut short when the man waved his finger at us.

No, no.

He whacked Kaylie with the butt of a gun and she fell off the beast, disoriented.

The animal raised an enormous paw over her and tried to stomp on her, but she gathered herself enough to put up a forcefield before he crushed her.

But the animal was too strong, and she wasn't strong enough.

The forcefield began to crack and soon enough, it shattered between the pressure of the paw and Kaylie's will to live.

Her bones crushed underneath the animal, and when he found himself a victor, he carried his master off into the mess of the city.

Her screams were deafening. High pitched and loud. But it was short lived because after the first scream, after that release from her lungs, she went silent.

And we all thought she was dead.

"Kaylie!" Captain ran towards her crushed body, but I stood still. I didn't move while everyone else ran to her. I didn't flinch when they said both of her lungs collapsed. I did nothing when Anthony had to use his telekinesis to keep her lungs going. I did nothing when she screamed in agony when they had to carry her from the scene to the hospital.

I went home.

She was going to be livid, eventually, but I went home instead.

When I called Danny up to see how she was doing he growled angrily at me saying, "She's fine," and mumbling about how I should be there. But I couldn't.

I couldn't bare another moment of Captain telling me how he would've saved her differently. I couldn't let him tell me I was no good for her. I couldn't.

I wasn't ready to see her either, so when she walked in the house two days later, completely healed, it was nerve racking.

And what she said made my blood boil.

"Do you even love me?"

do you even love her?
he fucked up big time.
