The weekend flew by in a breeze. It was Monday, and I had school. I did my usual morning routines, shower, breakfast, teeth, clothes, and so on. I began to pack my backpack with stuff that I will need. Pencils, pens, books, a Greek bestiary, and my phone. For my clothes, I settled on a loose sweater with a tank top underneath, jeans, brown ankle boots, and my brown leather jacket. I ran a brush through my hair, and pulled it up into a high ponytail.
Once I was all set, I said goodbye to my aunt, grabbed my bag, and made my way to my new school.
At school, I went to the office and got my locker number, classes, and whatnot. But while walking through the halls, I caught a scent of something. Werewolf. An alpha, but not just any alpha, a true alpha. Not as rare as me, but highly unusual.
The scent belonged to a boy with darkish skin, black hair, and a tattoo on his arm. On one side of him walked a beta. He had a muscular body, and blonde hair. On the other side, walked a normal boy. He had brown hair and hazel eyes. As they walked by, the werewolves turned and looked at me, their friend giving them a confused look. They caught my scent.
I ignored it.
I gathered my things from my locker, and headed off to my first class in my new school. AP Biology.
Back at home, I had extraordinary grades, and never ever got anything below 90% on my work. This school will be no different.
The teacher wasn't in the class when I walked in, oh well. I sat down and got a pen and pencil out of my bag, and pulled out my bestiary. I had a feeling that no kids in this class could read Greek, so I didn't have to worry about anybody reading my book.
Just then, a banshee, a kitsune, and the true alpha walked into the class. Soon followed by a chimera. I knew my scents.
The alpha shot me an uneasy glance. He didn't know what I was. Because if he did, he wouldn't be acting so...off. The chimera followed the alphas gaze to me, he looked at me, and, he too, now had a confused expression on his face. I looked down back to my book, and ignored them.
The alpha sat with the behind the kitsune and the banshee. They started talking, but I didn't bother to listen, it was none of my business.
The chimera slid into the seat next to me. I looked over to him for a second, then looked back to the pages to my book. He looked at my book with an odd glance on his face. "Ummmmmm" he began, causing me to look up at him. "What?" I ask, trying not to sound rude or snippy. "What language is that, because it definitely isn't English, French, or Spanish." He asks. I turn back to my book. "It's Greek" I tell him, not looking at him.
He nods, slightly impressed. "You know Greek?" He asks politely. "Ναί"(yes) I answer. He gives me a confused glance. "Yes" I answer. He nods. "My names Theo" he tells me. I look up to him this time. "Jessica" I answer.
Just then, the teacher walked in. I closed my book and put it away.Soooooooo I know that this chapter wasn't very interesting, but hey, she finally met Theo, YAY!!! And sorry it was so short. But the next chapter will be longer, promise
