I had Eve and Riki hold down the fort while I followed Ranger to an unknown area. I looked at the tom with uncertainty, "Are you sure these cats are LunarClan's worthy?"

"Trust me kid, you won't meet anyone more picky about who joins then me." Ranger replied flicking his ear.

"Where are we going to anyways?" I sighed.

"An abandoned house up ahead, not to far from here. Before you get your fur in a bunch hear me out, they used to be kittypets." he meowed quietly.

My eyes widened, "What?! How is my fur not supposed to get in a bunch! We aren't just going to hunt for them while they sit around all day!"

Ranger flicked an ear in annoyance and sat down, "We came perfectly on time, get ready for the show. I came across these cats while hunting one day."

"Show?" I whispered and sat down beside him. Kittypets were the last thing I wanted to join my Clan, but beggars couldn't be choosers. We were hidden by the undergrowth but we were looking at an abandoned two-leg nest. There were holes and one of the corners had crumbled to the Earth. I saw a familiar dog, it was about medium sized. "That's the dog that was bothering Tigerpaw."

It held it's head low and I could hear it trying to sniff out a meal. I watched with interest then got bored, "What are we waiting for?"

"Just a few more moments," the grey tabby whispered then pointed at the building with a paw.

I let out a bored sigh then sat back down. I watched as the dog got closer and closer to the house. I nearly jumped out of my fur when I heard a loud yowl. Ranger purred but my fur was bristled in confusion, "Stay here, they can handle it."

Two toms darted out, one was tan and black then other was an orange tabby. I was sitting down as one went for its face while the other went for its legs. The dog let out a cry of pain then darted away faster then the lash of a tail. "What did I tell you? Am I right or am I right?"

I smirked and stood up, "Alright I must admit, I'm interested, but who are they?" The toms didn't seem to notice us as they bolted off after the dog, making sure it left.

"The tan one with the black back is Shepherd, his friend there is Basil." Ranger replied, "They would make wonderful additions to the Clan."

"What's the catch, I know cats like these don't fall out of the sky," I said seriously.

Ranger sighed, "In my case it was a tree... Back on topic, they used to be kittypets until there twolegs left them during a storm."

I thought for a moment, "Can you introduce me? They seem like Clan material.. I think."

Ranger nodded his head and started padding over to them. The toms gave up chasing and saw us, "Ranger that you?" Basil called.

"Yeah it's me, this one here has a proposal for you." He purred shoving me forward.

I let out a grumble of annoyance then looked at the toms, "Yeah I was wondering if you would join my group, well it's more of a Clan. We only have four cats including myself and we are trying to grow." I meowed.

The two toms looked at each other, Shepherd looked down at me. "We aren't cut out for Clan life, I know nothing of it."

"I can teach you! We aren't exactly like the four Clans, I have my own traditions." I quickly replied. "Please join.. I'm desperate."

They looked at Ranger who gave them a nod. They met my gaze, "We will join on two conditions." Basil meowed.

"May I hear them first?" I asked.
