~Noelle's POV~

I sat on the hospital bed, staring at the boring cold wall. I sighed, remembering the image of Darlah's lifeless body before me. I shuttered. I couldn't imagine why God would place me in this situation.

-Flash Back Two Years Ago-

9:37-after shopping

"Hey Noelle, are you free Saturday night?" Darlah asked, checking my agenda. I shook my head. "Yep, all clear for that day, why?"

"The girls and I were throwing a surprise party for Victor. We're running out of time and helpers." She said with eagerness. Victor is her everlasting boyfriend, who is deeply committed to her. He's that cheesy, innocent guy you'd find in books.

"Of course I'll help." I laughed. "As long as you buy me a chocolate cone ice-cream."

"Deal." she giggled.

Thump. Thump. Thump. We turned around and saw a tattered man hobbling along. We chatted a bit and went to the corner of the neighborhood. The same man had been following us for the past five minutes.

"Maybe he's trying to get past us." Darlah said in a reassuring voice, but her eyes showed fear. We paused for the man to go ahead of us, but he stopped as well. We began to freak out. The man suddenly let out a howl. We turned around and saw him shift into a beast. A werewolf! We run away in fear, screaming. The werewolf pounced on Darlah and ripped her head off. It began feeding off on her organs. I couldn't help but freeze to the spot in horror.

The werewolf was pleased to see my reaction and charged at me. I felt my left eye moving inside. My body, then, moved on it's own. I charged at the beast and killed it with my bare hands, ripping it's body apart in shreds. I ran over to Darlah. It was too late to save her. Almost all of her organs were gone, leaving the corpse there to rot. Her eyes were rolled back, leaving me stare at her white eyeball. Behind me was a group of people. I didn't know who they were, but I knew they weren't bad. Right after that, I fainted and fell into deep slumber.

-Flash Back Over-

The sound of the clock's ticking and the sound of the machine's beeping echoed the room. I just awoke in this god damn boring ass hospital. The nurses outside kept on running back and forth. I'm getting a headache just by looking at them. I looked around the room. All there is that's colorful are old Christmas and birthday presents on the left side of the bed. On the table was a large shopping bag. It looked like someone just brought it here.

I looked over at the red button beside me. Should I press it or not? I continued to stare at it, until a nurse with dark brown hair in a bun came in. The moment she saw me, she gasped. WTF? She stared at me like she just saw a ghost.

"Hello?" I said, waving my arm. The woman snapped out of the shock amd screamed, "DOCTOR, SHE'S AWAKE!" she ran out screaming those words continuously. All sorts of doctors rushed to my room and began to mumble shit.

It went on and on for hour with the touching and checking. Gosh, I nearly fell asleep with the boring ass conversation, but then one of them went, "Noelle Mark. Your currently hospitalized due to the incident two years ago. Do you-"

"Can I go home now?" I said cutting them off.

The doctors looked at me nervously and said, "I'm sorry. We can't do that."

"Why not?"

"We were ordered to-"

"Who the hell told you that shit?"

"We can't-"

"Fine, whatever. Just shut up and leave already."

"But we-"
