Tommrrow. The word is hanging on the tip of my tongue. First day of high school, which will have so many ups and downs. I've prepared so much today that I forgot it was already 8:30. I need to be ready. I lay down and let my eyes close slightly and hum to myself as I fall asleep.
I wake up the next morning, bright and early. I straighten my hair because curling was a little to much. I slipped on my black skater skirt with a cropped blue t-shirt paired with white converse. I knew I was cute while I was finishing my mascara. I thought eyeliner was a little much as well. So i decided to let that go. Show my natural beauty. My mom hollered from downstairs that I needed to be in the car in 5 minutes. Hearing that I clambered downstairs grabbing Nutella toast before I left.
We pulled straight into the front of KORTZ HIGH. "Holy shit!" I mumbled under my breath. My mom replied "No kidding." I grabbed my violet colored Jansport backpack. My newly French manicure nails hung s glit in my eyes. I saw tons beyond tons of children around me and it was... Frightening. Most of them tall and some big but for the most part. "Hey I'm Daisy." The girl came up from behind me. Brunette hair that was shoulder length, green eyes and semi-tan skin. She had another girl with her. Blonde hair that came to just below her bra line. Blue eyes that glistened and very pale skin almost like a vampire. They were just Gorgeous. A couple go chicos and Chicas followed behind them. They welcomed me and said "you look like you need a friend?" "Yes. I just moved here from Iowa." I probably said that a little to happy, considering they jumped back and inch or two.
Daisy stared to speak again. But, all I heard was "Oh and This is Sidney..." Because a man that was more gorgeous than God appeared. This boy walked up with brightly green eyes, sharp brown hair that had a slight quiff. He was honestly a very attractive 15 year old. He jogged over and said hi to Daisy and Sidney. He introduced himself and said "Hi I'm Flash Knot." God his voice was extremely raspy and sexy. I replied and said "Hi I'm amethyst. Amethyst Wright." Right when I said my name everyone's eyes looked like they were bulging. I hadn't known what I did but I heard the bell and ran. Literally ran. I tried to hide all my embarrassment but it was to much. When I arrived to my first room I walked in. Lucky for me all three of them were there. I sat down and grabbed a pencil. Mr. Burch introduced himself and then made all of us introduce ourselves. I heard Flash. Then Daisy. Then Sidney. Then I stood up and immediately fell. I knew I had nerves but they weren't even that bad.
My body just went numb.
