FIRST DAY OF A NEW DREAM

*VANESSA'S POV*

"NESSA WAKE UP" I heard as my body was being bounced into the air.

"What?" I said in a tired tone.

"Today's your big day" my friend  Shilo yelled in excitement.

"Oh yay" I said pulling the blanket back over my head.

"What's the matter? I thought you would be excited" she said ripping the blanket out from my hands.

"I am its just I know no one there. What if I make a fool of myself? What if no one likes me?"

"Nessa what is there not to like about you. You are one of the funniest, most understanding, caring, laid back, down to earth person I know. Trust me everyone there is going to love you."

"Thanks Shi" I sat up and gave her a hug.

After she left I got up out of my bed grabbing my phone putting on my favorite playlist.

Singing along to Halo by Beyoncé I went to get ready for the day. I turned on the shower and stripped out of my pj's.  Getting in when the temperature was right I began by washing my hair and then I moved on to my body shaving and everything. After wards I dried off and put on my robe walking back into my room to get dressed.

When I returned I found another one of my roommates in my room, Justin. I also have one other one but he's probably sleeping like always.

"Oh I'm sorry want me to leave so you can get ready?"

"No its fine. What do you want?" I asked.

"I just wanted to wish you luck on your big day and I know your going to do great" He said giving me a hug.  "I wish I could stay but I have to go to a boring meeting" He said letting go and walking towards the door.

"Wait Justin" and he turned around. " Thank you" I said with a smile receiving one back.

Now don't get me wrong Justin was a really attractive guy and had an amazing personality and I would so date him if we weren't best friends.

After he left I started to get ready. Since they have makeup artist and I have to get changed a million times they want me to wear comfy clothes and no make up.  So I threw on my black adidas joggers, a white t- shirt and my white adidas. I then brushed out my hair and put on no make up. I grabbed my bag and was out the door. It was now 9:30 and I had to be there by 10.

Since it didn't take that long to get there I stopped by Starbucks getting a Grande Java chip frapichino.  I pulled up to the set and grabbed all my stuff out of my car. I had tons of snacks and water because I didn't know what to expect and had no clue when the next time I'll be eating is.

I walked up to the door and was about to walk in when I got to nervous. C'mon Vanessa you can do this, who cares if no one likes you, you have friends at home that care deeply about you its all good. After having a little pep talk to myself and a couple deep breaths I was finally ready to go inside. I pulled open the big door and walked in.

I walked into this big room with cameras, wires and mics everywhere I was looking around and there were little fake bedrooms everywhere, there were people talking and a little lounge. I was just standing there trying to take everything in because they're was so much. Then I felt a tap on my shoulder.

"Hello I'm John the producer/director of the film you must be Vanessa Hall"

"Why yes I am" I said with a smile.

"Nice to meet you" he said and we shook hands.

"There's actually someone I want you to meet" he said and took me to a room with my name and someone else's on it. He opened the door and there was think really hot guy sitting on the coach. As soon as he saw us he stood up.

"Vanessa this is Cameron he will be playing your love interest in this film"

"Hi I'm Vanessa" I said.

"And I'm Cameron"

"Ok well I leave you two alone so you'll get to know each other better. I will have someone come get you guys for wardrobe and makeup a little later." and then he left closing the door.

I sat down on the couch next to him leaving a good amount of space.

"I can't believe we have our own dressing room" I said looking around admiring everything.

"I know it's pretty cool" he said also looking around.

I took out a piece of gum and offered Cameron one.

We talked for a good 40 mins getting to know each other then I was called down to makeup. All I could think about is how perfect this guy was and how lucky I was to have him as a love interest and to spend so much time with him. I can not wait to get to know him better.

Since it was the first day we didn't really do much and didn't have to stay late. So I left at 7 to go meet my friends for dinner. When I got to the place I found all my friends at a table waiting for me.

"Hey how was your first day?" Justin asked and they all turned and looked at me waiting for an answer.

"It was really good actually. I mean it was better than I thought but there is a slight problem"

"Well what's the problem?" Shilo asked.

"There is this guy who plays my love interest and he is really amazing but i know I can't like him because I can't let it get in the way of work and I won't it's just going to be really hard."

"That does sound hard. Do you have a picture?" Shilo asked and received a dirty look from Justin.

"What? The way she's acting about this he has to be really hot and I want to see a hot guy."

"Well if you want to see a hot guy just look right here" my other roommate Josh said.

And we all started laughing.

"Ouch" he said.

After we all finished eating we walked around the peer for a little bit then went home.

Once I got home I went straight to my room and  as soon as I hit the mattress I was out.

I don't know how this first chapter was but I promise it will get better and this time I'm actually going to finish this book.
