It all started with a clock, such a simple thing to start such a large commotion.
As in most of life the simple things that we take for granted have the biggest effect, the clock chimed 8'o'clock and she quickly changed from her work clothes and left the factory that she worked at for the past two years. she always wanted to quit the job but never had the courage, as she needed the money as most people do. She was 19 and living at home even though she would have like to leave she could never bring herself to. As she turned the corner of the street down the lane to her small 2 bed house which she lived in with her mother, the peeling white paint and the broken fence and over grown garden was home to her since she could remember. As she unlocked the door she seen her refection in the dirty glass - long brown hair, pale skin and bright blue eyes the thing she liked most about herself.
As she walked it to the house she could smell stale alcohol which she always tried to get out of the curtains but never could, she walked in the living room to see her mother passed out on the couch, ever since her father had died years ago. She walk into the kitchen to look for some to eat but like always when she worked days in a row she had no time to go to the market, so she went up to her bedroom and went though the door marked Mary in faded blue paint, as she walk in to the room she went up to the small dresser in which she store her small amount of belongings and started to get ready for bed as she put on her pjs then in the small mirror she see seen the 'tattoo' or birthmark that she had since she was born. The tattoo was a half moon and a large sun and around the back dark blues and greens mixed to form a small galaxy pattern but normally she wasn't bothered by it but it looked like it was brighter. As she went to bed she hoped it meant something good was going to happen.
