The band that changed my life

First day

I stood at the front of the school, nervous to go in. The bell rang and I ran inside. During my rush, I ran into a boy.
"Oh s-sorry...." My dyed-white-hair fell in front of my right eye. I was shocked to notice that he took that strand of hair and tucked it behind my ear.
"No it's my fault, I didn't see you coming" he smiles at me. "I'm Dustin, what's your name?" He holds out his hand.
"I'm Jude"
"I've never seen you around here..." He says.
"I'm new" I say with a giggle.
"Well see you around Jude" and with that he walks away.

-at lunch-
I sat alone when I see Dustin coming towards me.
"You mind if I sit here?"
"For $50" I joke and scoot over.
"So I was told that you reserved the auditorium for some sort of practice during off hour?" He brings this up now?
"Yeah...." I say, letting my hair fall in my face again, like it does when I get nervous.
The rest of the time we joked and messed around, who knew he was this nice!
