I've had bad days and good days but this would be the day that would make me or break me.
It was a bright Monday morning when I received an unexpected call from Benjamins. It was the place I recently applied to for a job. Benjamins was the most famous place in Jamaica and was known for its best selling products.
So working there would secure you for a lifetime.
I quickly answered and the caller told me that I was needed for an interview, so if i could leave now, they would greatly appreciate it. Without hesitation, I put on my best suit and was through the door and on my way to Kingston. I was not even sure if I had brushed my teeth for this was an opportunity I was not going to give up.
It took me several minutes to reach my destination,due to all the overtaking I had done. Time is money and I could not afford to waste any. I took a look at myself and ensured that i was looking as stunning as ever. I stepped into Benjamins and out of nowhere a breeze hit me in the face. It was like they knew I was here. I eagerly went over to the front desk and told the person sitting there that I was present.
"Take the hall to the left and that's where you'll find the boss," she said smiling.
"Is a pity she nu know say a me is har replacement," I said laughing to myself.
I went exactly to where she instructed me to go. I knocked on the door.
"Come in," said a familiar voice.
I opened the door and went in and to my surprise, the owner of Benjamins, the famous Benjamins that everyone wanted to work at, was no other than Jerome Glanville, my ex-boyfriend who's heart I broke in high school......

Please note after reading this , that it's a short story, so if you thought it would be longer or whatsoever then I'm sorry but its called a short story for a reason :) (no shade) .
