Chapter 1 - Life is Ruined

Once upon a time there was a boy who loved a girl. She was absolutely perfect in an imperfect world. Forever's a promise, it's more than just a word. They meant it to each other, of that they were sure.

You remembered the feeling of love you felt for him. You could still feel it now. Your heart beat like a drum around him andyou always went nuts when thinking about him. He was your soulmate. You knew that for a fact. But it can't happen now.None of it can. You wish it could but no.

Let's start from the very beginning.

You and Gamzee Makara had just gotten a house together. You were always happy, you always had fun together no matter what it was. It could have been Go Karting or eating slime together, you both loved it as long as you were together. That was all you wanted. To be together, forever. You both were determined to grow old together, have lots of kids and be a big happyfamily....you never quite got there though. That's where it all went down hill.

That one day you went to the doctor. Your life had changed. No matter how much you could try to avoid the one thing that doctor told you, it never would go away. There was no cure for your illness. You could never live the life you wanted to withGamzee. You could never grow old with him to have the millions of kids you wanted. Instead, you would have to live in a hospital bed the rest of your life.

"I'm sorry...." the doctor had said. "You may not make it much longer"
