Chapter 8 Stone Of Death

My eyes widened at the sight of the redhead I didn't  want him to know about the real me. "Lindo.. I can explain.." I whimpered. Lindo glared at Rem.

"What did you do!?" Lindo accused immediately. Rem looked at him a little disappointed.

"Lindo!" I yelled making him flinch change his expression.

"I found out myself, my father told me about him working with (l/n) (fathers name)," Rem said getting up. 

"What the hell..." Lindo started.

"Li--" I started. Lindo glared at me.

"Why didn't you tell me!? I thought you trusted me!!!?" Lindo roared. I flinched and looked down.

"I... didn't want you to ..." I mumbled and then trailed off. Rem got up and put his hands on my shoulders.

"Don't yell," Rem said before stepping away. Lindo was shaking. 

"Why.. didn't you tell me...? Don't.. you trust me?" Lindo asked sounding really stung.

"Why didn't you tell me either!?" I snapped. Lindo widened his eyes.

"I thought--" he started.

"Me too!" I interrupted. Lindo looked down. 

"I'm third vampire, third devil and third human," I spat. Lindo stared at me.

"I'm a dhampir," he whispered. "Also a exorcist.." he added taking out his cross.

"My mom is a vampire, dad is a devil, my grandma from my mom side was dhampir and grandpa was vampire, dads side grandma was devil and grandpa was human," I added looking to the side. Lindo went quiet. 

"My mom was used..." he mumbled. "I'm Ritsuka's cousin not brother," he said softly. Rem sighed loudly. 

"I don't have any half parents, all my ancestors are devils," Rem said clearing his throat. I nodded. 

"Sorry I didn't tell you..." Lindo apologized. "Wait did that have to do with why you got bruises...?" Lindo asked. I nodded slowly.

"Since my dad is always away I'm used to my vampire third and I ended up unleashing it on some girls and scaring the hell out of them.." I mumbled. "They were saying mean things about me.. So I ended up escaping from hearing their comments I'm scary like from my past.. and I ended up in here..." I added. "I also think I burned them with the power I didn't know how to use..." 

"Is that why you came back to Japan?" Rem asked. I laughed a bit.

"Everyone in my school refused to be around me saying I'll curse them to hell and that I'll suck their blood... My friends were scared of me... I used to be mean and rude and that caused serious mood swings that came out badly.." I whimpered. Rem walked over taking my hand. Lindo also came up to me taking my waist.

"I wont leave you," they said in unison. I looked in to their eyes, ones were kind the other were serious. I felt kind of spoiled from all the attention. 

"Ritsuka isn't like you... I actually didn't like her this much.." Lindo confessed making my cheeks turn pink.

"Took my words," Rem growled. I blushed darker.

"G-guys.." I muttered softly suddenly very embarrassed. I struggled out of their grip and then turned around. 

"You're both hurting Ritsuka!" I exclaimed. Both of them sighed.

"This has nothing to do with Ritsuka.." Rem mumbled. I looked at him. He trapped me against the wall with his arms. "This only has to do with us," Rem purred. Lindo shoved him away. 

"Its true my little sister wont be very happy," Lindo muttered. "(f/n) he's right though," Lindo whispered looking in to my eyes deeply. I felt my heart going miles per second. I ducked under their grips and crawled out. The two turned around their gazes following me. 

"Why me..?" I whispered. The two looked a little surprised by the question. 

"Your special," Lindo answered smiling. 

"You're not like the others," Rem added. I looked down. I heard a knock on the door.

"Excuse me," one of the girls said. I recognized their voices. "Can we borrow (f/n)?" one of the girls asked. I felt my world freeze. No.. please... I can't be right...

"You do notice you just interrupted a conversation," Rem said looking at them.

"This is urgent matter!" the second girl exclaimed sounding impatient.

"Urgent matter to hurt her?" Rem asked. The two froze. I blinked and fell to my knees and Lindo went over to my side asking me if I'm okay.

"What.." one of them asked sending me a piercing look.

"You really thought she'd tell but it'd go without any notice?" Rem asked. The girls looked scared.

"We're sorry Rem!" both said bowing. 

"We need to borrow her for a sec anyway," one of the girls said. I was about to pray in my mind when the words of hell cut through.

"Go ahead," Rem said giving them a daring look. The second girl went and grabbed me and dragged me away. 

"What--" Lindo started with a glare.

"Follow me," Rem said and Lindo got up and both left the room after a few seconds. I screamed as one of the girls grabbed me and slammed me in to the wall holding my throat.

"You little brat do you want to die!?" one of the girls said holding a knife. I shook.

"No!! I didn't tell them anything I swear!" I screamed shaking.

"Liar! You even talked to Rem like we told you not to!" the second girl growled. 

"I didn't have a choice! I can't just ignore the school president!" I whimpered.

"You little brat, dare lie to us!" the first girl tightened her grip on my throat. Due to my height killing me like this was easy.

"I thought better of you," Rem said walking out. The girl that was holding my neck let me go. I fell to the ground realizing the ground is really hard after all.. My vision was blurry and my lungs burned begging for oxygen. I felt like my world was ending. Everything was in dots and I couldn't find my voice and my entire body was numb. I felt someone pick me up. I didn't know who it was. I passed out right after. I woke up gasping and holding my neck petrified. Lindo looked at me who was sitting beside me holding my hand. Rem was on the other side of the room making tea. 

"How are you feeling? Tea?" Rem asked. I tried to answer but my voice was drowned. Rem and Lindo looked at me worriedly.

"What's wrong (f/n)? You cant talk?" Lindo asked. I nodded and let go of my neck and they both had their eyes go wide. 

"Those snakes..." Rem muttered. He got another cup and poured some weird colored liquid. Lindo reached to touch my neck. I couldn't fell his touch. Rem turned around. Both knew that I didn't like to be touched by my neck. "Tch!" Rem exclaimed and brought over some tea. "Can you hold your cup?" Rem asked. I nodded slowly wincing a bit but took the cup in to my hands and sat up slowly and sipped the tea and spat it out. The tea tasted like salt with plants and mixed with honey and then mixed with mud. I sent Rem a glare.

"She didn't look like the type to refuse medication," Lindo commented.

"Guess she is one," Rem said sighing. "Drink till the bottom unless you want to die from the poison they put in you," Rem said giving me a daring look. I looked at my tea and then back at Rem I looked back at the tea. I brought it to my lips and drank it down. I coughed a bit. Lindo quickly got a basket and put it in front of me. I coughed violently then something came out. Rem took it out.

"Where did they get this...." Lindo asked looking at Rem who was holding the gem like form.
