Angela stared out the window of her room wistfully. Her mother, Aphmau was talking with a blue-haired woman at the docks. Scarlet tapped Angela's shoulder. "Come on I found a book in Aphmau's room! It will explain what she is planning right now! I think it's her diary!" Scarlet said. Angela was eager to figure out what was going on with Aphmau so she followed. Scarlet lead her to a book. "I'll read it." Angela offered. Scarlet nodded and they opened the book to the current day's date. Angela began to read.
Dear diary,
Today is going to be the saddest day of my life. I'm sending my children away on a ship so the war between O'khasis and Scaleswind against the Phoenix Alliance won't affect them. I had to accept that if we lose the war my children will be gone forever. Goodbye Levin, Malachi, Scarlet, and Angela. I'll miss you all.
Angela trembled at the words. She couldn't be sent away! She would stay and hide! She beckoned Scarlet to follow her and they walked into the basement. Angela snooped through Aphmau's stuff and brought out a pic. She banged it on the cobble ground and dug a little room. Slowly, Angela covered the hole with cobble and waited.
