I kept on walking through the forest, until the forest became a hill, and I realised it was a mountain.

'My best bet is probably in the mountains, where nobody could find me.' I thought to myself.

I began to get extremely tired and eventually, I laid down under a wide tree that was quiet hidden. To be honest, it was extremely hard to fall asleep, and I missed my Mom. So, I began to sing my lullaby from when I was a baby, my Mom always used to sing it to me if I couldn't fall asleep.

Through my head, I kept on going over the words and humming the tune. Eventually, I drifted off...

The bright sun shone in my face as I opened my eyes to see where I was. Then, reality started to kick in. Last night was horrific.

'Maybe those people only come out at night?' I thought to myself.

I started to stand up, and little did I realise, that I had no water or anything. 'I just have to make it to the town...
but the town was no where to be seen. I probably walked miles last night. But it's really easy to get myself off the mountain, all I have to do is walk down the hill and the town will probably be there, where else could it be?' I thought to myself.

So, I started walking down the hill and just slowly breathed in and out. The fresh air was so fresh. To be honest, I was so happy to move to Colorado, it's beautiful. That town where I lived before with my Dad wasn't particularly the nicest.

I thought so much about my life and how it was unfolding, and it wasn't looking great. Before I knew it, I was at flat land. I was so happy to be in a town again!
'Now, just are the corner...' I thought to myself.

But it wasn't particularly around the corner. I was in a complete different area of the state! Once I walked out of the forest, the was this gigantic lake stood in front of me. I was high up in the mountains.

My palms began getting sweaty and I started breathing heavily. It was a mixture of frustration and stress. I lost it and all of a sudden started throwing rocks in the lake. All I did was scream and yell. I was so hungry and just wanted to be close to town.

'How could I have walked to far last night?' I asked myself.

I had scuffed knees and had dried blood all over, probably from falling so much last night.

I walked up to the lake and started to drink some water. I felt so much better, it was crazy.

After that, I just continued walking for the day, trying to find resources I could live on and at the same time, try to make my way back to the town.

Life was so tough to live it in the wild, but I hoped that I'd find my way out.

At around five, I began to get extremely hungry and didn't know what I could eat. I didn't see much wildlife, nor did I know how to hunt.

When it started getting dark, I rubbed two pieces of wood together to try to make a fire, I thought it only would've token five minutes, but it took almost five hours. It was so hard to resemble a fire like object thing. In the end, I only had the amount of fire as a candle, but I started to gather dry leaf and it assembled a fire!

Just when I started to get sleepy, I heard a thing rattling in the woods...
