Shadow Fall

A.N: so i was reading a book written by Kelly Armstrong called The Reckoning. which is one of the books from its series and i absolutely fell in love with. As i was reading i came up with this story.

Year 1850:

Shadow fall was built today and it will stand forever for the future generations to come. it will be a place were no danger or harm could ever come at all....but boy were they wrong. it was a mistake to build their town at that land were they awoken a old ancestral power that sleep for so long until then.

Not many years pass when the Shandoval awoke and killed almost all of them avenging what had been theirs. no one could stop their fury but a young girl who gave her life as a sacrifice to save the remaining survivors of her people and her town. making them promise they won't harm them which they accept. they thought it was over but boy were they wrong. the girl wasn't killed completely and they left her with a power they will regret.

Year 1930

Mayor gray couldn't believe he had found the record of what had happen in this town in 1877 he thought it was only a bed time story to scare the kid's from going into the woods but now he believed it just as he knows there's a sun. even though it sounds so illogical that dairy with the information shows the opposite and a other reason was that his many great great grandfather was involved in it. just reading it just once burn into your brain and from that no one should know about this for their safety. for that reason he was standing in the deep surrounding part of the woods digging a hole and put a lock on the box that carry the diary. he carefully puts the box inside the hole and burry it. he left quick after that but he stop as he he heard a noise and he knew what and who it was from reading it making him swallow in fear. he gather all his courage and kept walking he wouldn't risk them knowing where its hiding if they do its over for humanity.

Year 1940

Great grandfather Chase was building the Chase mansion and as he did he found a box. it look real old but he got curious having it in himself liking history. he took it into his home, as he opens it a big explosion let out of his home unaware it awaken once again the great and fearful Shandoval. reading them was his biggest mistake knowing what really was in the woods and what happens in there every night. when he had a son and he was old enough he pass it knowing that at least one should protect the mansion. his son accepted the job to protect the mansion and the family as the next morning he was found dead. His son was born in 1975 causing great joy yet unknown to them their son will cause a great loss.

sorry it was a bit boring with all the history but i wanted you to get the point that the ancestors made a huge mistake and introduce what Chase role was in this.

if you dont get what are Shandoval dont worry i explain it later on the story
