An odd family, this one is. The first generation; a King, a Queen, two old townsfolk, a Dragon, and a Human

The second generation was even more odd; A Guardian, A Twilighted Septimi, a Human, and a Dragon.

The third generation is even more tricky to comprehend; A deseased Guardian, A Twilighted Septimi babe, a Human, a Novice Skinshifter, and a Jewel.

This is, was, the Goremire family. A mix a species, no one knows how it truly began. But I will tell you the real story, young reader.

The Second Generation Guardian had found the Twilight Septimi when she was young. The Septimi had fallen in love with a Human, now one of the most rare species on the earth. The Human had a brother, who was a Dragon. Although the Guardian and the Dragon were sworn enemies, they were compatable enough to marry.

The Human and the Septimi, named Kevin and Amber, had four children. Their names were Hiror, Michael, Finn, and Jewel. Aging the quickest, Hiror was as mature as the king of old. Jewel came in second, knowing what was right, and what was wrong. But this was when they were still infants, couldn't talk.

One day, Silfurine, the Guardian, went to Amber's abode. "Hello, Silfir!" Amber hugged her sister tightly. "Aren't they adorable?! Hiror is a Twilight Septimi, too!" Amber was clearly exited to have her sister and babes in one place.

"Yeah, they're cute, I guess," Silfir said, trying to stay away from the four children. Amber looked at her, a soft, orange glow coming form her bright eyes.

"Silfir, you won't hurt them, I promise you," Amber told her softly, then picked up Jewel. "Here, this one is Jewel. I expect her to do great things in the future, just like her aunt." Silfir looked at Amber, shocked.

"No, Amber, you know what will happen if I--"

"Nonsense! Now hold her!" Amber shoved Jewel into Silfir's arms. Looking up at the Guardian, Jewel smiled, and tries to take off her mask. "See? She sees the good inside!" Amber smiled.

Silfir smiled back. "Yeah, she's kind of cute," she said. The room suddenly started feeling hot to Silfir. She widened her eyes and handed the babe back to Amber.

"I have to go, before Clobber sees me here," she said, readjusting her mask.

"Alright, you be careful, now!" Amber waved at her, holding Jewel in the other arm. Jewel looked at her aunt with her green and blue eyes, muttering a 'Dilfur?'

Amber laughed and set Jewel down before calling Kevin over to watch the kids. She decided to go on a walk, merging herself with the shadows and enjoying this splendid night.

Silfurine had just walked into a small clearing in the woods, when a man with red streaks on his arms came over. "Did you go to Amber's house?" He questioned her angrily.

"N-no Clobber, I didn't," Silfir raised her voice, sounding more harsh then she wanted to be. Clobber growled at her, changing into red Dragon in the proccess.

"You know, I like this killing streak I have. First, I killed your child, and now, I will kill you," Clobber took a large breath in, then breathed a blue fire at her. Blocking it with her own, yellow fire, the two species got in a fight.

With Clobber being the overall victor, he left Silfurine to die after spiting on one of her wounds.

Silfir knew she couldn't go back to her sister's house; her family would be in too much danger. But that changed when she saw the familiar black hair, red scarf, and amber-corlored eyes.

"D-Dont touch me... you know what will happen if you do... you have children, now. Don't leave them." Silfir argued against Amber, knowing what she was about to do. All she saw was her smile; the smile of knowing.

"I may have children, but this world needs you. Please, take care of my precious Jewel," Amber put both hands on Silfir's shoulders. Tears came down her face, tears of happiness. Silfir started shouting, but it was no use.

Amber was gone.

"I-i, s-she," Silfir stuttered. Then she started sobbing as her injuries healed themselves in a matter of seconds. Getting up shakily, she put on her mask, threw up her hood, and redid her scarf.

You see, dear reader, that was my mum. That was my aunt. I am Jewel.
