Twenty Truths

Once I convinced Kat to let me stay over for a bit, we eventually started a game of twenty truths.
"Okay... Why did you move here? In this wannabe town?" We stare at the deep red ceiling as we ask our questions. "I don't really know, honestly. People keep saying that I don't have anywhere to go, so I guess I just came here. Maybe I'll stay, maybe I won't. We just have to see how things go for me and this rundown place." I looked up at Kat and realized she was looking at me too. "Hmmf." I took Kat's words to consideration as we continued to stare into on another's eyes under the romantic lighting. "That's the last question," Kat said, her eyes shifting from my left eye to my right. She scoots close enough to me to where I can feel her warmth against the skin of my shirtless torso. We close our eyes and our lips meet in a forgiving, sweet kiss.
