My friend. My best friend. Where is she? Her betrayal stung more than any physical pain I've ever felt. I have been tortured and been in more fights with even more skilled fighters than even myself and yet, this felt worse. Maybe because this pain is something that will last much longer than a simple cut or bruise.

I was born only to fight and grew up learning how to kill better than anyone. My own teachers for me and only me. No one else learned how to fight or kill like me. We are all different. By we I mean the 100 of us. 100 teenagers taken from our homes and trained for one purpose. To kill and not be caught. To take orders and eliminate. We aren't even sure who we work for. All these years and we haven't found out. It's... classified.

However, things have changed. From 100 to 98. Stacey and Johnny have recently been compromised by the enemy on one of their missions. They were executed before we could send in a rescue team. There was no time for grief. Only another mission.

We are the Generation of Assassins. 100.... 98 teenagers each specially trained to eliminate the enemy. If even they are the enemy. Things have been... falling. Crumbling. I have decided to keep record of this using a video camera. If we are to have a future... I believe we need to be freed. But now is not the time for fantasy....

In this teenage group you can aspect drama to an extreme among assassins. Drama makes our lives that more complicated.  We hate each other, yet, we have to trust each other with our lives. We love each other, yet, when someone takes someone else's kill assignment, we try to murder each other. Madeline and I were always able to keep a pretty safe distance from most of the major drama. We did that by trusting each other and being there. No matter what.

However, in our line of work, things change. For the first time in my life. My friend... Madeline Silver was not there for me. It was on a close to suicidal mission. Infiltrate yet another building, steal intelligence and leave. We don't ask questions. We just do the mission. However, Madeline was always curious. Taking more info than needed. Keeping double copies. That's when, after I had taken out several guards and radioed to her, there was no answer. I went to were she was suppose to be to only find the drive left on the computer. I searched with what little time I had but to no luck. I had to evacuate before I was killed. I went back to our undercover house where a few more of us were staying for surveillance.

Back at our surveillance house, I started looking for answers. I first approach Robert. Tall and muscular, he looks like a football player. He's one of the slowest of the teens but incredibly strong. He has brown eyes and hair.

I walk up to him and grab his collar of his white shirt.

"Where is she?!" I hiss.

"Why are you asking me, Q?" Robert asks, a slight smirk on his face.

"You know why!" I nearly yell but lower my voice. I can't let the adults know I'm asking about Madeline. There are cameras here somewhere placed by them. Once a teen is gone they are gone. "Last week, when we had our training, Madi embarrassed you and you said you would get back at her! You have to have done something! She doesn't just disappear while we are on a mission. That's not her. You were suppose to say if anything was wrong. We did the dirty work. You had to have done something!"

"You're pathetic," Robert scoffs. "It's quite obvious Q. She left. She left you. She left this mission. I don't know what happened but it's pretty clear. You friend is gone."

"Shut the...." I started but stopped. If I'm gonna find Madi I have to keep calm. Be... Calm...

I clench my fists.
