It's been a year today since I found that note on Emily's side table,everyone's still asking about her, especially my team I don't know what to answer as I don't know the answer to it. Ignore the questions whenever I get asked them, it hurts to much to talk about her. I try not to show it, but it hurts, deep down it still hurts. It's like she's in the room with me, watching over me, obviously she isn't but that's what I feel. I just wish I got to say goodbye.
Emily's P.O.V
(A year later)
My life has been an amazing experience, I miss Gibbs with all my heart, but as they say not all happy endings end happily. I've been working in California, as previously said with a new team, CSI (I don't know if they're located in California, oh well). We've done multiple crimes, some set up. But most of them were actually crimes though. I've been working for a whole year with them. it's amazing how time flies when you've escaped the past.
We're currently as a crime seen, someone committed suicide. We're meant to be meeting with another team, I'm not sure what team, I wasn't paying attention.
"Emily" my boss said.
"Hmmm," I said meeting eyes with him.
"I'd like you to met an old friend of mine, follow me." He said, as I started Following I realised who was teaming up with us, NCIS.
As we walked over I seen his white/grey hair. I could help but pull a sad smile while walking behind my boss.
We reached him. "Special Agent Gibbs?" My boss asked.
Gibbs turned around not knowing my present yet.
"Oh, hello Tommy, long time no see" he said.
"I'd like you to met our newest member, Special Agent McLennan" that's when we made eye contact. For the first time in a year.
