~ Stiles' POV~

We wait outside the Argent house while Chris and Allison talk through some stuff. It's things a parent should never have to hear, but he has to know.

"Think she'll be okay?" I ask Scott.

"Honestly?" He replied.

"I would be able to tell if you were lying." I laugh lightly.

"No, no she won't be. But she's strong. So strong, it makes me wonder sometimes if I'm the alpha or the omega." Said Scott.

"You really are one of a kind Scott. Just like she is. A different type of alpha, for a different type of  girl." I give him a friendly grin.

"Thanks. You and Derek are pretty cute too." Scott compliments. I freeze, unsure of what to say as my cheeks are burning furiously. Derek and I haven't talked about us since his little outburst in the woods a couple of days ago.

"Oh man, I'm sorry I just thought since the whole trade off thing....." He trails off.

"Yeah, no it's okay. It's just, things have been a little focused on the hunters and the pack. It would just seem unfit to add a new relationship to all that. Especially one that could potentially be harmful to the pack." I explain sadly.

"Yeah, I get it man. But you and Derek have something special, whether you put it off or not. I guess you gotta ask yourself if it's worth it or not right now." Scott said, making me think.

"I'll think about it."

"Yeah, you do that." As he pats me on the back then walks off. Derek walks towards me.

"Hey." I smile.

"Are you okay? You seem kind of upset about Allison and everything." He comments.

"Oh yeah, it's just, Allison is like my little sister. My only family for years, and then seeing her with her real dad, kinda makes me want to see mine." I said.

"You want to see him?" Derek asked, surprised.

"I believe that's what I just said." I say sarcastically. Instead of his usual growl, or lecture, he chuckles.

"Come on, they'll be okay without us for a little bit." Derek says as he pulls on my sleeve.

"What? But-" Is all I'm able to get out of my mouth before he shoves me into the Camaro.

"Just a minute. Come on!" Derek smiles.

We pull up to a gas stations a few minutes later, where there is only a store clerk inside, and a man standing by a jeep outside next to a gas tank.

"I-Is that......" I ask, unable to see if I was right for sure. I haven't seen him since I was seven.

"Yes. I'm going to go inside and get some stuff, you stay here." Derek says, getting out of the car. Leaving me alone.

~ Derek's POV ~

I go inside to get some food for us, but I can't seem to tear my eyes off of the boy in my car outside. He's so blissfully captivating. But my thoughts are interrupted by a handsome man in a tux.
