Meetings Part 2

Hiccup's P.O.V

So after all this time I found this girl called Merida... I thought I was alone.. how a fool. Well I was alone for 300 years or so, I can't really blame me, can I?

I sat beside her trying to find a way to start a conversation.

''So.. you're you know.. death too huh?'' I tried 

''Yup... it seems so'' she replied simply resting her head upon her hands

''And for how long have you been like... this''

''I guess 300 years... I don't know add or take some''

Really? How come haven´t I seen her first? 

We were silence again so I asked the first thing that came to my mind.

''And how did you died?'' 

I thought she was going to punch me and leave because it wasn't a nice question, though she just gave me a death glare and said ''Ah don´t remembeh''

''How is that? I know how I died!''

''Well...'' she trailed ''ah don´t really know ah just know that ah woke up in the middle of the forest one night and the moon talked to me'' she said then looked at me. I looked at her a bit concern ''Hey don't blame me that's all ah now it's a mystery fo' me too'' she said with that scottish accent.

Suddenly the bushes nearby started to move. Merida looked at them a bit worried.  A groan was heard and she abruptly stood up. Toothless jumped from behind the bushes groaning and showing his pointy teeth at her. She tried to look brave though she was shivering and she prepared her bow, she was actually going to shoot at him if it wasn't for me... I stood between them.

''Toothless no! Chill down bud she is just a friend it's alright'' I patted Tootless

''Are ya crazy lad? That beast!!! That!!! It just..'' Merida lowered her bow and started shouting but was cut by me

''Merida come down!, look he is Toothless my friend'' I said trying to calm her down

''Hic are ya crazy? IT´S A DRAGON!!'' she said pointing at Toothless with her index finger

''I KNOW!! I KNOW!! But it's okay he won´t hurt you he is trained and he is my friend, right bud?'' I asked Toothless who was confused but he nodded his head anyways ''see? I think you just scared him''

''OH! NOW AH SCARED HIM?!'' she shouted and I got a bit scared too because of what she could do.

''Well you do shout a lot Mer..'' I trailed

She looked like if she just realized that and said '' Probably you're right  Hiccup, am sorry but ah have been alone all this time and.. AWW!! One day ah just see ya and ya have a dragon and AHH!! it's just so akward!!'' she said constantly moving her hands at the air and grabbing her red hair like if she was going to take it off.

''Why don't you try to get along?'' I asked both Merida and Toothless. She crossed her arms and stared at toothless for a while. Then she took a step forward and she offered her hand to Toothless ''Am Merida'' she said. Toothless went forward and placed his head below her hand so she could patted him.

''See? not that bad is it?'' I said while I sat down on the floor again. Merida patted Toothless and laughed before sitting beside me.

''And Now if ya don't mind.. how did ya died?'' she asked crossing her legs.

''Actually I was riding Tootlhess'' I said and suddenly recall how Toothless and I were falling from the high ''It's actually a good story but I don't want to bore you'' I said while resting on my elbows

''ah want to hear it'' she said while making a bonfire because it was getting dark.

''Well, Toothless didn´t use to have all his tall.. I mean like ALL his tail.... so I made one for him... I learned how to fly with him but well one day I lost my left foot'' I said while glancing at my foot, I could noticed she was seeing it too.

''But it's perfect right now'' she said

''I know'' I paused but she looked like willing to hear moreso I countinued ''One day Toothless and I went flying in a lighting storm and a thunderbolt hit its tail, we were falling and it all went black'' I paused and looked at her. Her light blue eyes where focused of Toothless ''When I woke up Toothless and I were on the floor, my leg and his tail were as good as new and the moon talk to us''

''Ya mean it talks to ya too?'' she said as she looked to the sky and see the bright moon.

''Yeah but only that time. It has never talked to us again since then'' I looked up at the moon too... hoping it could speak to us again and answer all my questions.

''I know'' she said smiling  ''I understand, it's so unfair'' she turned to face me.
