Prologue
I haven’t been alone when I was in The Highest. Peaceful, sacred, and silent, as they always said. This place was holy, since it was called “Heaven”. I have served The Throne all my life and every single angel was jealous of me. I pretended that I did not hear their thoughts, deep inside--- I felt sad. So I just smiled sweetly at my fellow angels and sat alone in my favourite place, the garden of Mahelbelch, waiting for him. My beloved, my lover, Oliver. He was the highest of all archangels while I placed second.
We vowed to love forever, exchanged words of love and passion, parted our lips before the night-curtain entered, and served The Throne. It was almost perfect.
But one day, the dream I dreamed in my whole life fell into pieces. Everything was illuminated. I walked alone in the garden and saw a young lad lying on the ground. His hair covered his face so I couldn’t identify him. Due to my curiosity, I ran to him, lifted his head and my eyes widened as I saw his face. It was Oliver, my love, my heart, who was lying on the floor----dead.

I wailed loudly that even the mortals and every living thing could hear me screaming with agony. We were alone in that lone place. I didn’t see anyone here except him. So I couldn’t blame someone.
Suddenly I saw a black flame-like shadow coming from the ground and it formed into a shape of human. “We meet again, Yvette”. It was Lucifer, the god of the underworld. I hated the tone of bitterness as he said my name. He had a bottle in his hand and I didn’t know what’s inside it until he told me.
“ Lithium, my dearest. I feared that The Throne didn’t tell you what this is. ”, he grinned as he played with it in his hands. His demonic look sent a chill down my spine.
“ Why did you kill him? He did nothing wrong...to you. ” tears bursted from my eyes. It felt like hell when Oliver turned into dust and got carried away with the wind. It’s our nature, when we die, we turn into dust. Just like a shattered mirror. It will never be fixed but it can be replaced. Seeing Lucifer smiling as he passed away made me suffer with grief and I couldn’t smile anymore like I always do.
“ Simple answer. I’m jealous with the two of you. ”, he smirked and I narrowed my eyes at him. His body twitched with the pain I planted on him. With my power, I took the bottle from his hand and in one stare at it, it disappeared.
“ Oh my. I must’ve underestimated you. ”, he cackled with his evil laughter.

“ We were already over forever, sine your pride took you away Lucifer. And yet, you took something very precious to me! How could you do that to me?! ”, I screamed and fell into my knees. Something caught my attention. The white light that was coming to us. “The Throne. ”, I said to myself. God appeared before us. His holy and radiant light blinded Lucifer.
“ What have you done? You know you’re forbidden to enter the Gates of Heaven! ”, he said. Lucifer raised a skeptical eyebrow on him. “ Fine fine. I’m leaving. ‘Til we meet again… Yvette my dearest. ” then with one blink of an eye, he disappeared. I cried and cried. I didn’t have any strength to stand up. God helped me up and hugged me. I gazed at the angels. They cried too. Who wouldn’t?
“ We all know it’s very painful for you to lose someone you loved dear like Oliver. ”, He said with his lonely voice. I still continued to cry. Couldn’t fight the feelings. I didn’t have any hope left.
