DISCLAIMER: This is Issac's POV to Betrayal by @LindsaySlobojan. I didn't keep up with her wonderful writing so if you want to read more of this story please check it out. I won't be finishing this as it has been five years, but I appreciate the support this received when I published it. However, mostly this was never finished because <spoiler alert> Betrayal begins with a dream if I'm not mistaken, and these are the events of said dream...meaning this is pretty much more of a writing exercise.

This wasn't good. Now with the piano player having been sacrificed the only three left were Guardians. I'm not sure if it meant parents or policemen but either way this didn't look good.

"Dad I want to stay a little longer and see if we can figure something out." Allison told her dad who didn't  look too happy about her suggestion.

"There's no way I'm letting you go home alone after what happened tonight."

"I'm perfectly capable of getting home by myself."

"I'll drive her home Mr. Argent I won't let anything hurt her." I stepped in.

Allison shot me a look. Obviously she wanted to make the point that she could take care of herself but I couldn't help myself. Any excuse to be with Allison longer was one I would take. I knew it was wrong for me to be falling love with her but I just couldn't help myself. She was perfect. Her smile could make me so anything and the fact that she is so strong makes her only more attractive.

Allison and her dad kept arguing so I figured it was my cue to leave. I was definitely not getting involved mostly because Allison's dad freaked me out. I saw that Scott had come out of the school a couple minutes earlier so I headed to where he was. I found him leaning against a wall.

"Scott." I said behind him. "That was the third murder."

"I know." He mumbled but kept looking forward.

"So what do we do?" He always seemed to be the one with the plan but I can tell there was something else bothering him. He wasn't really focusing on what I was saying.

"I don't know..." Scott said looking at me with sad eyes.

I looked down and saw Allison's feet making her way to us, "Where's your father?" Scott asked.

"He left, I told him I could drive home without his supervision." Allison sighed.

I wonder what her dad had said to her. I hope she was okay but she didn't really sound like it. Maybe it was talking to Scott. That made jealousy flare within me. Even now after months of them being separated Allison still acted differently around Scott. Why coudn't she love me like I loved her?

"Look, you don't have to pretend like you didn't come here together. I saw you guys walking in together and I have no idea why you were together, but it's okay." Scott stood up and stared at the ground. Since I moved in with Scott I've gotten to know him a lot... and I knew that it was definitely not okay with him.

"What do you mean you don't know why were together? You were the one who sent him to my house to check up on me Scott."

Oh shit. I was caught in my lie. Fuck. Well I wasn't going to tell Allison I was worried about her. I went because I needed to see with my own eyes that she was okay. No matter how much I tried I couldn't stop myself from loving her.

"I what?" Scott said looking straight at me with squinted eyes. I figured I was about two seconds away from being punched in the face... but wasn't sure if it would be Allison or Scott to take the swing.

"Oh... I uh... I can explain." I mumbled.

I actually could explain but that doesn't mean I was going to.

Scott shook his head, "No. It's okay. I have to go." He turned around and started to walk away.

I looked back at Allison and saw the tears in her eyes as she looked at Scott walking away. I pulled into my arms trying to comfort knowing this will probably be the closest she'll ever let me be with her.
