"Going on a run with some of Rocks group, Ash, be back tonight." I called to my sister who was up the stairs.
"Be safe!" She called back down.
I smiled to myself, grabbing my softball bat from the front door umbrella holder. I wasn't a knife person. Or a gun person. Or a crossbow person. I was a softball person. I played since I was 4 before this started, so I naturally had quick reflexes and a strong swing. I carried it over my shoulder as I strolled up to the front gate. I saw Rick and a fee others from his group. "Ready to go?" He asked.
I nodded and u dusted my cap, sitting on top of my side braided brown hair.
"How long have you been here?" A boy with a sheriff hat asked me.
"Since this started." I answered.
"You sure you want to come? Do you even know how to use a gun?" He asked rudely.
I glared at him and put my weight on one leg. "For your information, cowboy, I know what it's like out there. I know how to handle myself and I prefer to use a softball bat. I hate guns."
With that I turned and walked out of the gate, swinging my bat back and forth on my side.

We went by a few houses and didn't find much. Mostly walkers. I snuck off by myself for a bit, going into an appliance shop, hoping to find some weapons or something. I opened the door and was confronted with three walkers. I just simply walked up to them and with one swing, their brains were on the floor. Three down.
I found a fee hunting knives and a bow with a quiver someone could use. I came to the back of the store and was not expecting there to be nearly a whole herd of the walkers. "Shhhhhhit." I hissed to myself and sprinted off and out of the store.
I ran into the house that Rick was in and frantically looked around. They weren't here. Where are they?
"Rick!" I called, "Rick? We gotta go!!"
No answer. "Dammit."
I went outside and dropped the weapons, facing the small herd of walkers. I speed walked up to the nearest ones and beat them senseless. One after another. Getting players put one by one. I hit one and then another. Home run. Down, down, down. Strike out!

No players left. No more danger. I turned around to see the rest of the group. I saw Carl with his mouth hanging open. "Told you I knew how to handle myself, cowboy." I smirked and walked in the direction we came in.
