Never Let Me Go.

"One day, I'm going to marry you." I hear my best friend Andy say from beside me as I absent mindedly play with his hands. "I'll hold you to that." I say, laughing lightly because I know he's not serious. "I'm serious, Tay. I promise." he says, wrapping his arms around me. No more words are spoken, we just watch the stars above us. 

At some point we fell asleep, tangled in eachothers embrace, because the next morning we get woken up by the sprinklers his mom has set. We quickly run in the house and escape the horrid streams of water that have awoken us. "Well, since we're up, wanna go get Starbucks?" he asks as we climb the stairs to his room so we can get new clothes since ours are wet. "Hell yeah." I say as he throws me a pair of sweat pants along with a tank top of his. We quickly change, not caring that the other is in the room. I throw up my hair and realize that we're matching. "Andy did you match us on purpose?" I ask, laughing. "Yes! Best friends must match! Duh!" he says, very sassily if I may add. I just laugh and head out to his car since he's driving. 

We get to Starbucks and get our coffee, then head back home. Well, to Andy's house. But I live next door so pretty much home. 

Our day is spent playing xbox and hanging out, like every Sunday is with us. His parents go away every weekend, leaving Andy home alone so I come over or he goes over to my house. It's always been that way. 

Eventually the time comes for me to head home so I can shower and get ready for tomorrow. Graduation day! "See you in the morning, love you!" I say as I wrap Andy in a hug. "Love you too!" He calls as I walk out the door. This is normal for Andy and I, spending all of our time together and saying we love each other. He's my best friend. I just hope he doesn't forget about me once we're out of school.
